Kelebek Cave Hotel

Perhaps because it's a cave hotel, it felt a bit eerie~ The hotel itself feels a bit old, but the scenery is captivating~ Waking up early to watch the hot air balloons ascend was absolutely beautiful~ Enjoying coffee or wine in the courtyard with the sunset was also stunning. Both the sister hotel Seten next door and the hotel's own restaurant are Michelin recommended. Trying local specialties at Seten was delicious, and with the beautiful view, it was very pleasant. The hotel's breakfast is Turkish style, with not many hot dishes.

This is a two-story room, spanning the first and second floors. The first floor is a bit narrow, and the bathroom on the first floor isn't very big. However, the bedroom on the second floor is really comfortable! It's perfectly spacious for two people! This room type is actually more comfortable to stay in than the hotel's Presidential Suite. This cave hotel is quite unique and the restaurant offers a good variety of tasty dishes. However, we stayed for three nights and were assigned to the lowest level, which had virtually no view. This definitely wasn't worth the 1300-1400 per night price tag. The room door used a traditional key, and the bathroom door needed a strong push to close properly. On the plus side, the service was decent, and they offered complimentary bonfires. On the downside, our room didn't have a good view, and some of the facilities felt a bit dated.

The bathroom drain smelled terrible! I wouldn't recommend it if you're particular about hygiene. The hot air balloon view, however, was quite good.

I have to leave a bad review: 1. The room I stayed in was incredibly small, dark, and dusty, especially the bed. I was shocked to find so much dust on it when I went to sleep. 2. The soundproofing was terrible; I was woken up early by noise from upstairs. I definitely do not recommend this place. 3. There was almost no room service. The breakfast had great reviews online, but there were no hot dishes at all, everything was cold except for coffee and tea. I just had to write this review; I really don't want other travelers to make the same mistake. Luckily, I only booked one night.
