The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is good too. The TV is a bit small, but considering the hotel's age and history, it's not a big deal. Right downstairs, there's a lively pedestrian street and food street. The only slight drawback is the paid parking (the hotel reimburses 30%, so it's a 30% discount), meaning an overnight stay costs guests an extra 70 yuan. Everything else was quite satisfactory.

The location is a bit out of the way, and the room is small, comparable to a Jinjiang Inn in terms of decor and cleanliness. I was initially quite disappointed given the price. Luckily, the breakfast made up for it in the end. I value breakfast highly, so it redeemed some of my impression. The snacks downstairs were also quite good.

Front desk staff Sunny Lin and Eden Yang provided excellent service. Sunny helped me with my refund and also asked about my stay, which made me feel valued. The concierge, Eden, assisted with my luggage – a big thank you to him! My room was also arranged perfectly. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

After staying at VOCO last week, we visited another city and stayed at three different hotels in between. When we returned to VOCO, our whole family loved it because it truly proved to be a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the pool offers a beautiful view, and both the Chinese and Western restaurants serve excellent food. The service is attentive; the front desk staff, including the bellhops like James, Sunny, Pure, and Kelvin, were all incredibly helpful. The restaurant staff were also warm and polite. After a few more days here, we're off to another destination. This time, I know for sure that VOCO will be my top choice when I return to Guangzhou.
