Guidu Hotel Beijing

Conveniently located between Niujie Subway Station and Caishikou Subway Station, it's also a short walk to Niujie and there's a Walmart nearby. Although our room faced the street, it wasn't noisy thanks to the double-glazed windows. Breakfast was decent with a good variety; they offered whole apples and whole tomatoes, but the tomatoes were so sour I couldn't eat them, which felt like a waste – mini tomatoes might be a better option. They don't have robot delivery for takeout; instead, orders are left in the lobby and checked against the last digits of your phone number for pickup. For a family room designed for three people, they only provided two mouthwash cups and one bathrobe in the closet, which was a bit puzzling. The diverter switch for the bathtub and showerhead didn't work at all; no matter what I did, it had no effect. Also, the trash bag I left outside the door wasn't collected all night. I hope they improve hallway patrols, as I haven't encountered this issue at other hotels.

The location is super convenient, just two stops away from Beijing South Railway Station on Metro Line 4. It's also very close to Niujie, less than a 10-minute walk, so dining is easy with many popular eateries around the hotel.
