Guidu Hotel Beijing

We stayed at Guedu for my child's high school entrance exam. The staff were all very welcoming, especially Fan Lina, who patiently asked if we needed anything and specifically arranged a quieter middle-floor room for us. 🤫

Booked this hotel during the high school entrance exam period, and they thoughtfully dedicated an entire floor for exam-takers and even adjusted breakfast times. It was a very considerate gesture! This hotel's location is excellent, very close to Niujie subway station. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were all very warm and friendly. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Despite facing the street, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. I'll definitely be back.

The front desk upgraded my room, and the entire experience, from the lobby to the elevator, the hallway, and the room itself, was incredibly comfortable and clean. The hallway was quiet, though there was a slight smell of smoke, which I aired out by opening the window. The facilities were exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and it even had a smart toilet – absolutely no complaints. The hotel is conveniently located right by the Fayuan Temple historical and cultural district, where the hutongs are beautiful, clean, and full of Beijing charm, and Fayuan Temple itself is well worth a visit. Plus, the hotel is close to Niujie, making it super easy to grab some local snacks!

Great value for money, and close to Beijing South Railway Station. It's also quiet in Beijing.

Our stay here far exceeded expectations! The location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and a supermarket right downstairs. The room was meticulously cleaned, not a speck of dust anywhere, and the decor made it feel cozy and home-like. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, sending check-in instructions in advance and even recommending some fantastic local hidden gems for food. All the appliances worked perfectly, and the soundproofing was great – we slept soundly all night. Absolutely excellent value for money! I've already saved this place; I'll definitely be staying here again when I'm back in town.

I chose this hotel for my business trip to Beijing. The overall environment is great – clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing is quite good. The staff are all very friendly. Highly recommended. Breakfast wasn't included in the room rate, but Niujie Street is nearby, so breakfast options were very convenient.

On the way home, I'm reflecting on my Beijing trip and the most delightful part was definitely my stay at the Grand Hotel. Everything from the solid decor and spotless environment to the exceptional service left a warm impression, so I just had to leave a review. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a really well-built interior – you can tell the owner is a true hands-on professional. The bedding was pristine, and the room was immaculately tidy. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt completely at ease; it was elegant, sophisticated, and offered fantastic value for money. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options that made for a very pleasant meal. The service across the board was simply impeccable. The welcome gift of 'Dudu' pastries was delicious, and they even hand-washed one item of clothing for each guest daily. Plus, we could enjoy one complimentary snack from the room's minibar every day. Coincidentally, it was my child's birthday on our second day, and the butler on the 15th floor thoughtfully surprised us with a birthday cake, washed the children's clothes, and provided kids' toiletries for both of them. The lobby also gifted the children 'Dudu' bear plushies, which truly touched our hearts. The bellhop was also incredibly observant and personable, proactively helping us with inquiries and luggage. This is what I call genuinely delivering on service and going the extra mile. All three families in our group unanimously agreed that we'll stay here again on our next trip to Beijing. This is a completely heartfelt review, and I hope it provides some positive insight for fellow travelers.

Although the room was a bit dated, it felt like a five-star hotel. The double-glazed windows ensured it was wonderfully quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly for eight hours straight. The area around the hotel is fantastic for food and entertainment. You have the bustling Niujie Street, full of authentic Muslim cuisine and teeming with people, and then there are upscale Shanghai restaurants where a meal easily costs over 200 RMB per person. The hotel's breakfast was absolutely superb, easily on par with five-star establishments. The Chinese toon and chili sauce was so incredibly tempting that I had to ask the chef for the recipe. I'm definitely going to try making it at home – the chef really knows their stuff, it was genuinely delicious.
