The Signature Hoi An — 4/5
Stayed 2 nights and overall it was a great experience for the price. The location is unbeatable — walking distance to the Old Town/Ancient Town, which made exploring so easy.
Staff and service were a real highlight. We arrived unwell and they noticed straight away, sending complimentary ginger tea to our room without us even asking — such a kind gesture. At checkout, they gave our daughter a little pottery whistle that kept her happy for ages. Small touches like that go a long way.
The perks here are genuinely good value: a free 30-minute foot massage per guest, and a complimentary platter of Hoi An signature dishes during our stay, which was a really lovely meal. Breakfast and the pool/facilities were also solid.
A few minor niggles: our room faced the road so there was some traffic noise, though the double glazing helped a lot. There were minor stains on the curtains, and the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking (a pillow menu would be a nice addition, though I didn't get a chance to ask if one exists).
One area that really needs attention: the kids' room. It was disappointing — the walls looked dirty, possibly mould-related from the 2025 floods, and could use a repaint. The Lego blocks were broken and the plastic balls felt pointless. More engaging toys (kitchen toys, etc.) would be a great improvement — though please, no TV.
Despite these gripes, the location, service, and value make this a place we'd happily stay at again.
