Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel

My child loved it and wants to stay here again next time. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing. The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道. Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing. Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch! We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.

Excellent, five-star review! Check-in was seamless. Although it's a bit far from the park, both the shuttle bus and ferry are available, which is very convenient. The room was quite clean, and the daily housekeeping was very thorough. It wasn't cramped for two adults and one child, and there's a spacious balcony. My child especially loved being able to see dolphins in the dolphin pool at any time. What's more, the hotel offers butler service, so you don't need to call or go to the front desk for anything; you can just send a message on WeChat, which is incredibly convenient. Definitely a five-star rating!

The overall resort experience at Hengqin Bay Hotel is truly impressive. It excels in multiple aspects, including the scenery, entertainment, dining, and transportation. The hotel's exterior is grand, featuring a castle-like architectural style complemented by water features, creating a visually stunning effect. The lobby is spacious with ample seating, so even during peak check-in times, it never feels crowded. Inside the resort, the flamingo habitat is very well-maintained, providing plenty of space for the birds to move around. The viewing paths are set at an appropriate distance, allowing close-up observation without disturbing the animals. The park's signage is clear, and directions to various areas like restaurants, the Water World, and animal viewing spots are easy to follow. The concierge service is excellent, offering luggage storage and route consultations with great attention to detail. I would definitely come back again!

Stayed here with my sister. The lobby was quite crowded with people waiting for their rooms to be cleaned, as the hotel is very popular. We were lucky enough to get a room immediately upon check-in! The front desk staff were excellent, explaining all the available discounts and even helping us purchase tickets. The room had a great view, and the breakfast view was even better! We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast right next to a giant aquarium! We had a wonderful time and made some great memories. The only downside is truly the sheer number of people waiting in the lobby!

The room is perfect for kids, and the hotel has a pool and water park they can enjoy. The little ones absolutely loved it. The bathtub is also huge, great for a relaxing soak after playing in the water. We booked a garden view room, which was spacious with comfortable bedding. The hotel thoughtfully provided children's bathrobes, small toothbrushes, and a child-sized toilet seat – the attention to detail was excellent.

The Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel is perfect for family trips! The room package including tickets to Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship theme park is a great value. The first entry is by ID, but after that, it's facial recognition, which is super convenient, and you get unlimited re-entry. If you get tired, you can just head back to the hotel to rest. At the hotel's Dolphin Buffet, you can watch coral fish while you eat, and there are even a few adorable little dolphins outside, which really boosted the kids' appetites. In the evening, we enjoyed a stroll along the hotel's seaside boardwalk to watch the sunset. Our whole family had a wonderful vacation.

Staying at Chimelong, the hotel's location is superb. It's very convenient to take the free shuttle bus to the Spaceship Theme Park and Ocean Kingdom. The sea view from the room is beautiful, giving a great vacation feel. The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk service was excellent. Although there was a wait during check-in, it's clear that the hotel's reception system is very mature, with smooth luggage storage, check-in, and check-out processes. The hotel's interior decor shows a bit of age, but the design is still aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely choose Hengqin Bay again for future visits with family and children.

You can encounter them just by strolling around, making it perfect for a leisurely visit and photo opportunities. Dining options are abundant; the buffet restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including both Chinese and Western cuisine, with a full range of seafood, hot dishes, and desserts. The dining environment is also distinctive, allowing you to enjoy aquarium views while you eat. Transportation is convenient, with shuttle services available to various points within the resort, eliminating the hassle of getting around. The guest rooms are clean, with spacious bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful attention to detail. Staff responsiveness is prompt, check-in and check-out procedures are smooth, and basic services like luggage storage are well-handled. Whether it's a family trip or a casual getaway with friends, you can balance fun and relaxation here without having to shuttle back and forth between the park and your accommodation. The overall pace of the trip is relaxed, making it a vacation choice worth returning to. Oh, and they even gave us complimentary fruit, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Traveling during the off-season is truly wonderful. The Hengqin Bay Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Spaceship Theme Park, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. If you get tired, there's also a shuttle bus available. After spending a few days at the Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Theme Park, we moved to Hengqin Bay specifically to experience the water park. The indoor water park isn't very big, but the outdoor one is incredibly relaxing, just like a seaside vacation, allowing for complete unwinding.
