Shangri-La Songbei, Harbin

The location is excellent, right next to the Songhua River with a great view and convenient transportation. The staff at the Executive Lounge are warm, thoughtful, and always willing to help, incredibly patient and meticulous. The tall lady's English is particularly fluent, which is commendable!

We upgraded to a panoramic river view room, and the river view was absolutely stunning! It was beautiful from the moment we woke up, and the sunset was also gorgeous. The scenery was great, the pool was excellent, and the service was wonderful. The price was also reasonable. Overall, we were very satisfied.

1. The entire building uses cheap glass for its walls, offering no sound insulation. Road noise from all directions penetrates straight to your ears, and the higher the floor, the louder it gets, disturbing sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, definitely avoid this place. 2. Cigarette smoke. It's nearly 2027, and I can't believe people are still smoking in their rooms. The smoke even seeped into the adjacent room, and the staff didn't do anything about it. Absolutely outrageous. 3. The double buffet breakfast, priced at 248 RMB, is called Song Coffee. But the coffee beans, I don't know how many times they've been roasted; you can't even call it dark roast, it must be 'cannon-roasted' (this coffee alone would cost 30 RMB •ᴗ•💧). The buffet overall has nothing good to eat. How can they have the nerve to put cherry tomatoes on the fruit stall? It's simply hilarious 😂. 4. Food delivery speed is an issue. It takes 30 minutes for the delivery driver to get to the hotel, and then an additional 30 minutes for the robot to deliver it to your room. And you *have* to call concierge for them to send it; otherwise, they won't. The overall facilities, service, and food are worse than the Hanting Hotel I stayed at in Hegang. Also, I don't know if anyone will even read this review, but please get more delivery robots and enforce a strict no-smoking policy. I've stayed in so many hotels, and never experienced anything this ridiculous.

This was my first stay at a Shangri-La, and the facilities here are relatively new. The rooms have both a shower and a bathtub, and the pool and gym are quite good. Since it's in a new district, the surroundings are a bit quiet, so you'll need to walk a bit if you want to go shopping or find good food. The service was excellent.

The location is great, and the hotel is very new. It's super convenient to get to the Siberian Tiger Park, and the restaurant is good too. I stayed at both Shangri-La hotels in Harbin this trip, and comparing them, while the one in the city center is older, it actually offered a higher level of comfort.

Although the hotel is a bit out of the way, both the indoor and outdoor environments are great, and the view from the window is lovely. The hotel's swimming pool is clean and the water is clear, which made the kids very happy.

My top choice for a marathon trip, Songbei Xiang Hotel gets full marks! For this competition, I didn't hesitate to choose Songbei Xiang, and the stay far exceeded my expectations: Environment and Service: The lobby was fresh and clean, and check-in at the front desk was efficient. A special thank you to the concierge for kindly lending us an extra umbrella, which perfectly saved us from getting wet outside – attention to detail at its best! From the room, you can see beautiful scenery, and the corners of the room and the caulking in the bathroom were spotless. The infinity pool was crystal clear and blended seamlessly with the outside view. Extremely Family-Friendly: The management of the fitness center deserves special commendation! While my child played in the water with a swim ring, the lifeguard didn't just sit idly by; instead, they moved along the edge of the pool, closely following my child. As a mother, this kind of meticulous care truly provides immense peace of mind! Summary: The service is warm, and safety is guaranteed. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

This was my second stay at the Shangri-La Harbin. My first stay was a late check-in and early check-out the next day, so I didn't get much of a feel for the place. This time, it was a leisure trip, and I spent more time at the hotel. First, let's talk about hygiene. There were hairs on the carpet, which is somewhat unavoidable! But then I found a previous guest's nail, a red gel nail. I almost took a photo or called a staff member to see it, but I just put up with it. In the evening, I went to the hotel's buffet restaurant. Looking at the price, I thought it should be good, either with a wide variety or good quality. I was so disappointed. There was neither quality nor quantity. At the front desk, there was no separate line for individual guests and group guests from events, so individual guests had to wait behind everyone else. Asking an extra question or one less question made no difference; there was no response. The value for money is just too low! You should really just cater to groups. I've never given such an honest review.
