The safari bus is the part of Vinpearl Safari that makes the experience feel completely different from a normal zoo.
Instead of walking around looking into separate enclosures, you sit inside the bus while the animals move through large open habitats around you.
During the safari route, you can see giraffes, zebras, antelopes, rhinos and other animals moving through their environments.
I really liked the perspective from inside the bus. You are not simply looking at an animal from behind a fence — you are watching it move through a much larger space.
Vinpearl Safari currently operates daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, according to the current VinWonders information.
There are also walking areas, animal shows and restaurants inside the park, so the safari bus is only one part of the overall visit.

We drove about 30 minutes north of Duong Dong, past the airport and along the coastal road, and then suddenly the scenery changed completely.
Colourful European-style buildings, arched bridges and a canal appeared in front of us. This is Grand World — not a single attraction, but a huge entertainment district designed to stay alive day and night.
Grand World covers around 85 hectares and is part of the Phu Quoc United Center. The best part is that entry is free — you only pay for individual attractions.
Here are some of the highlights:
🎋 Bamboo Legend — right at the entrance. Built from more than 40,000 bamboo stalks and designed by architect Vo Trong Nghia, it is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Grand World. It looks especially impressive after dark when the lights come on.
🛶 Venice Canal — around 400 metres of water running through the centre, with colourful buildings, bridges and gondolas. A gondola ride costs around 200,000 VND for adults. Even if you don't take the boat, walking along the canal is worth doing, especially around sunset.
🧸 Teddy Bear Museum — Vietnam's first teddy bear museum, inside a distinctive flying-saucer-shaped building. There are different themed areas, including Egypt, jungles and ancient temples. Entrance is around 200,000 VND.
🌳 Urban Park — an open-air art area with sculptures and street art. It is free and makes a good place for a relaxed walk and some photos.
🎆 Evening shows — including the large-scale Quintessence of Vietnam performance and the free Colors of Venice laser and water show at 9:30 PM on the central lake.

We walked into the Grand World Food Court around 7:00 PM, and it turned out to be a great place to stop for dinner while exploring the area.
There was a good mix of families, couples and groups, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The open-air section faces the water, so you can hear the waves while eating.
We tried several different dishes:
🥞 Banh xeo — a crispy Vietnamese pancake filled with shrimp, pork and bean sprouts. The staff showed us how to wrap it in rice paper with fresh herbs and dip it in fish sauce. Definitely one of my favourites.
🍦 Coconut ice cream in a fresh coconut — served directly in the coconut shell with pieces of coconut flesh. Creamy, refreshing and not overly sweet. Perfect after walking around Grand World in the heat.
🍤 Seafood platter — grilled prawns, squid and clams. Everything was fresh and cooked properly.
🍜 Pho bo — a simple option if you want something familiar. The broth was clean and the beef was tender.
One thing I liked about the food court is that there are several different stalls, so everyone can choose something different and you can share everything at the table.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and you can easily combine dinner with a walk along the canal or continue exploring Grand World afterwards.

The resort sits on a 3.5 km stretch of private beach at Bai Dai, with three restaurants and a few bars. One of them is Sim Bar, a beachfront spot open from 10 AM to late, serving cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, and snacks. Drinks are in the 100k–200k VND range, with a view of the water and live music in the evenings.
