Six Senses Laamu

We spent seven unforgettable days at Six Senses Laamu at the end of September as a family of five. The island is breathtaking, the luxury is understated, and the service is exceptional. A special thank you to Faudi, our Guest Experience Maker, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. His personal attention, friendliness, and willingness to help made a real difference to our family holiday. An incredible experience from start to finish, and a destination we would wholeheartedly recommend to families. We cannot wait to return!

Our stay at Six Senses Laamu was truly exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, beautifully considered and particularly well delivered. We stayed in an overwater villa, providing us with direct access to turquoise waters and an excellent house reef. The sea grass areas just outside the villa is a natural feeding ground for turtles and eagle rays, adding a further dimension to our snorkelling experiences. We also took a short boat trip to a nearby reef, a true coral garden with an abundance of marine life and particularly clear waters. As vegans, we were particularly impressed by how thoughtfully and generously we were catered for. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the team were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. A very special mention must go to our Guest Experience Manager (GEM), Faudi, who was outstanding. He genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay very special. He was exceptionally responsive and attentive, anticipated what we needed and made everything feel completely effortless. He arranged and booked all of our experiences and was always there whenever we needed anything. His warmth and attention to detail made a real difference to our holiday. The entire team at Six Senses Laamu were wonderful — friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. There are lots of complimentary classes and experiences and a spa with a diverse range of treatments to completely unwind and relax. To help maintain and enhance the natural beauty of the Maldives, Six Senses has an on-site state of the art marine conservation, research and education centre which is run by knowledgeable and passionate marine biologists. This commitment to sustainability further sets Six Senses apart from other resorts in the Maldives. Six Senses Laamu is a very special place. It delivered not only the incredible natural beauty we had hoped for, but also the level of service and attention to detail that makes a luxury holiday truly memorable. We would absolutely return. Six Senses Laamu has exceeded our expectations in every way and has left us with memories we will treasure for a very long time.

I was one of the 30 or so % of guests that come back to six senses Laamu as repeaters. For a reason. Never ever habe I met such friendly hosts and this time we could even witness why they are as they are. We were invitetd to the anual host party and we could really feel the team spirit. The resort is luxurious but with the robinson crusoe style villas snd all the efforts reharding sustainability still down to earth somehow. Thangs to our GEM Shiunee, Abishek and Noman in the kitchen, Chef Isa, Soe at the SipSip Bar, the Chill Bar Chief from Mameddhoo, Greshma from the Spa and all the many others who made our stay so memorable! We‘ll come back!

Was totally blown away Was greet to find out with have a GEM - guest experience manager to look after us our whole stay. Janko arranged our restaurant bookings and all dining experiences and everything else we asked for. Food was the best we have ever experienced Service was next level All staff super friendly and accommodating Surf guides were all over it My husband had awesome waves everyday and they had boats and boards organised before we even asked The island is truely amazing Swimming with turtles of our overwater accommodation Mantra and fish everywhere and a beautiful house reef The marine programme and the shell information centre is a must plus the snorkelling One other highlight was the island’s sustainable tour Kokkoi the guide spend so much time with us and was a wealth of information on the tour His knowledge of the island and passion was felt and seen as he lights up talking us thru all the island sustainably programmes in place and what’s to come This place is must do and should be put on the top off everyone bucket list Did not have one thing that could be bettered Amazing Ten stars if that’s possible

It was a perfect experience ! This place is magical !!!! So close to nature but yet so luxury. Our GEM Shah made the experience an absolute 10 !

We were drawn to this resort by its philosophy, and our few days here truly impressed us with its ethos and style. The rooms and other facilities are well‑maintained, and it is hard to believe this resort has been open for more than ten years. As for the service, we received thoughtful and attentive care throughout our stay. Special mention goes to Janko! He treated us like friends. By the way, his Chinese is pretty good, haha.

The experience was second to none. We’ve just left and are already looking forward to coming back. From the very first moment, we felt right at home; the villa, the food, and—even more so—every single member of the staff were absolutely outstanding.
