juliaaabI visited Barcelona Zoo in January 2025, inspired by a tour guide on the hop-on/hop-off bus who praised it as one of Europe’s most important zoos. While it was a decent experience, it didn’t really stand out compared to zoos I’ve been to in places like Bangkok. The layout was nice, and the animals were displayed well, but I felt there were some notable absences—like tigers and camels—that would’ve made it more exciting. SopartWe did this on our first day of the trip and it was such a great way to start it off. The view is absolutely stunning and the church is so beautiful. The only thing that spoilt it was the fairground!

_TI***lmIt was interesting to see modern art in a building with such a historic feel. Many of the works had strong messages and really resonated with me. I was also happy to see works by Japanese artists. The shop was also very cute.

mux***inFrom there you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the whole of Barcelona. The Sacred Heart Church on the top of the mountain is soaring into the clouds, which looks extremely sacred. There is also a large amusement park on the mountain.
