Ripense in Trastevere

Our trip to Rome was wonderful! (January 16–21) A major part of this experience was the room we booked for five nights at Ripense in Trastevere. We found it by chance on Booking. Our room was a triple (it can also be converted into a quadruple) and it was room number 4. It was very clean, recently renovated, modern, almost brand new, pleasant, and spacious. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of wardrobes—four in total, one in each corner. One of them includes a small fridge and an espresso coffee machine with free coffee capsules. The window overlooks Ripense Street, with a view of the Tiber River to the left. The room has radiator heating (there is also air conditioning) and it is very quiet. Breakfast is Italian-style and includes free coffee, juice, a croissant of your choice, and toasted bread with butter or jam. Breakfast is served at two nearby cafés in the area (about 30–40 meters from the room). Security is excellent: access to the building is via a link, while entry to the main door and the room doors is with a code. Filippo, the property manager, is young, polite, and very discreet. He arranged a taxi for me from Fiumicino Airport to the accommodation and back (highly recommended), which saved me a lot of time. The location is ideal, as you can walk to all the major landmarks of Rome: the Colosseum (20 minutes), Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the Vatican (about 30 minutes). Great location everything is walkable. I love to walk so for me it was perfect about 25 minutes to the coliseum and all those things but the real Italy is in Trastevere! Great food all over!

Loved this accommodation! We were very comfortable here, easy check in and out and the location couldn't have been more perfect for everywhere we wanted...25/30 min walk to the historic centre and the colosseum areas. 40 min to vatican city and then in trastevere for the evenings. The bed was comfy and they had black out blinds plus the shower was brilliant. There was an aircon ban across the city when we went and they provided a fan as our room was very warm, i would suggest that fans are provided without asking, but that would be my only thing. I would definitely stay again.

Incredible location and neighbourhood, good room and all you need space-wise. Clean and well-equipped. Service was incredibly kind and helpful. They did let us know to let them know of we had any issues with the AC because of a power problem caused by nearby street work. The AC could not cool the room down at all, it must have been about 27 Celsius and the air was completely still, regardless of the windows being open. Simona was so helpful and lovely. We had every thing we wanted and needed. I slept so well. The shower was great. The room was comfortable. Would definitely recommend and go back! The breakfast voucher was really good!

Place is great located; air conditioning was not fully working to keep the room cold enough. The bathroom extractor wasnt working. People kind and trying to help and solve.

Rome Trip. Perfect location,walking distance to all the locations we wanted to go to.

The place is in a perfect location. A lot of dining options around. Comfortable walking distance from central tourist areas and plenty of public transportation around. We booked with breakfast, but unfortunately the breakfast places didn't have gluten free or lactose intolerance options :(
