Stayed for one night while visiting Tallinn. The location was central and I was able to move around without using public transport. As for the service, the hotel staff did not open the door for a long time even when I pressed the bell, the explanation in English was quick and peculiar, so it was difficult to hear, and when I asked a question, I got a little sigh. I didn't. Also, there is a charge for luggage storage after 14:00, and although two people were using one locker, we paid 4€. I was surprised because I understood it was 2€ per locker. I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the bed linen with dregs. The toilets and shower rooms on our floor were dark, and there was only one toilet on that floor, but if we went upstairs, there were three toilets, a shower room, a hair dryer, and a washbasin. However, since there is only one hair dryer in the entire room, it would be nice to have more, and I would be happy if there was a foot cleaning mat. Many Japanese people think that it is natural for a hotel to have shampoo, slippers, toothbrush sets, and other amenities. However, I think that there are few such amenities overseas. (I think it's because I chose a cheap price...) The hotel here didn't even have shampoo, so if you want to take a shower, don't forget it! ︎

The clerk speaks Russian and English. The hotel is located about 100 meters from the old town hall. very close. There are also light rail and buses at the door to go directly to major shopping malls and the airport, which is very convenient. It is a hotel in the ancient city. I love so much. Next time I go back to Tallinn, I will stay here again.

same bad experience as others: dirty (dusty), loud (parties in the street underneath window and in the rooms left and right, beds are terrible, you have to climb a lot of stairs, fridge hasn't been cleaned out for a long time, you have to pay extra for things that are free at other hostels, receptionist yells at guest for calling their number and very rude in general

Be careful, man who is working and answering calls is not nice. Let me tell why. 1. On a phone said price for 1 night 60€, when came charged more than double it! 150€. 2. Said to wait him downstairs, then called and yelled why we are not coming he opened door 100 times. 3. Asked to leave 100€ deposit, wanted to write on sticky note that I left deposit, I asked him to write official paper with signature. 4. Self cleaning after staying. Said to clean room then he will give deposit back. 5. Check out at 11:00, but said to leave earlier. 6. In a morning called to take my deposit back, didn’t answered multiplite times. 7. When he answered yelled again that he is working from 11:00, so how to leave room earlier and get deposit back if nobody is working ??? Avoid this hostel if You can, and don’t mess up with prices,

We had a terrible experience with Renata and her crew. They are scammers. Please stay away from their properties. We stayed at the "Viru Cozy Flat". We had to call the Police and fight with them to get our 200€ deposit back. They had no reason to keep it and told us that we if we wanted it back we had to give a 10 points review on ***********. They will try to scam you in any way. They came up with a thousand stupid reasons to keep the deposit. Renata and her husband are the hosts. They are insanely bad, rude and, most of all, they are scammers. Janek is the guy that comes to give you the keys and "check" the apartment at the end. He is their accomplice and he will act dumb and say that he is not responsible for it. It is not true. He is fully part of the scam and he knows what he is doing. He is as bad as Renata and her husband. One of the worst experiences in my entire life. They might reply reply to this review with a lot of nonsense things. They have been doing it with us a lot. They pretend not to speak and understand English well, and that's part of the scam. Watch out really...

We had an absolutely terrible experience with Renata Schreiterfeld, one of the hosts of this particular hostel. We stayed at the flat "Viru Cozy Flat", just around the corner from the hostel, that she advertises on Airbnb & Booking and had to contact the Estonian police in the end of our stay as she was not willing to return our deposit of the flat for NO reason. She also insisted that she would only return our deposit if we gave her 10 as the review score which is ridiculous after the experience we had. There are other really bad reviews about this host so please avoid supporting such criminal activity, I'm sure the hostel is no exception. They will try to scam money from you with any way possible. Unfortunately one of us forgot his phone in the flat and in the end they requested 60e more to send it back. This was truly the most terrible accommodation experience and the rudest host we've ever encountered. Renata has several accomplices (one called Janek) who "work" with her and pretend that they know nothing about what is going on or speak any English. Please DO avoid to save you from too much hassle!

Terrible experience. Bad facilities, rude staff. The whole hostel had a weird smell. We got a room that was being painted with equipment lying around. Depressive clientel of people staying long term, we did not meet another tourist. No idea why anyone would recommend this place.

Top! This small hostel in the center of Tallinn's old town is very well located, tidy, the owner of the hotel is very helpful and the price is affordable. I liked the fact that there was free tea and coffee. I recommend it for groups of friends and school trips. Near the hostel there is a really cool bar, Labir bar, with chemical decor, and a restaurant/confectionery Kohvik Peppersack that is also worth checking out.
