Babies! Huaqiangbei is one of the top attraction-level markets in Shenzhen. In fact, it is a commercial street. Today, we will summarize the recently popular Casetify mobile phone case stalls in two markets: Block AB of SEG Economic Building; Kangle, (previously in Huitong) I also saw a restaurant on the 4th floor of Kangle (I will tell you the reason later): The first one: 🌟The Internet celebrity store at the elevator entrance (which is crowded every day) attracts many agents to come to the door to have a look. It mainly sells acrylic versions. The quality is good, but the price is a bit average. Second store: 🌟Take the elevator and turn right for about 200 meters. This is a factory store with a nice owner. They mainly make mirror models. Individual customers and wholesalers are basically the same price, so you can pay more attention. Kang Le 3rd Floor 🌟This stall is called the A+ version in the market. It is indeed harder than other stores and the quality is much better. After comparing it with the original product, I can say that it is really good, but the price is relatively expensive. Sisters with a budget can buy it. . There are two SEG shops on the 5th floor, and they are basically made of acrylic. However, one of them with magnetic suction is about 20 more expensive than without magnetic suction. The overall texture is quite satisfactory, and the price is about 15-25. The store in Huitong is located very close to the back on the third floor. The reason I don’t recommend it is because it opens the door quietly. I also happened to go to the market by chance, and individual tourists often can’t even see the store open; note‼ ️Little sisters, you must be careful and don’t worry about being ripped off🔪. Just dare to ask for a price and don’t be fooled by him in just a few words. #华强北 #华强北手机 Shell #华强北 Wholesale

💎Most stores close at 7pm, so be careful to plan your shopping time. 💎Transportation: Take Exit D1 of Huaqiangbei Metro Station on Line 2 (8) or Line 7, and you will see SEG Communication Plaza as soon as you come out. Several other people shopping are also very close. 💎SEG Communication Plaza//Sells mobile phone cases, tempered films, lens films, data cables, plugs, power banks regular version/magnetic version, Bluetooth headsets AirPods/head-mounted, headphone cases, speakers, mobile phone selfie stands, projectors Instrument, printing camera, fan, comb with air cushion/straightening comb, hair dryer, electronic watch, watch strap...//It is recommended to start shopping from the fifth floor, the best value for money//The store attitude ranges from indifferent to enthusiastic, it depends on luck 💎Modern Window Building//Enter from the Digital Plaza, you can browse the first, second and third floors//Mainly selling CCDs, cameras, headphones...//All kinds of cameras are clearly marked with prices, and you can try them out and take test shots. Most stores are warm and friendly. 💎It is recommended to go to Area A for Mingtong Cosmetics Market. All they sell are cosmetics, which are quite cheap. 💎In the ghost market, people are basically led by passers-by to ask questions with a promotional sign, and then they will take you to the corresponding studio. Mainly sells one-to-one replicas of big-name bags, watches, and jewelry. 💎I bought two mobile phone cases from SEG. Because the quantity I bought was small, I was embarrassed to negotiate the price. 💰22 Got it, the quality is really good, and you can choose the pattern and style. Remember to try it and don’t buy the wrong model. 💎I bought headphones from SEG, 4K 🍎🎧 from the official website, for less than 💰500, hahaha, they taste so good! You can test the sound quality on the spot. Personally, a non-audiophile thinks it is good and cost-effective. I bought the silver one, it’s so cool! //It’s perfect for fitness, office use, and traveling! 💎Gourmet little easter eggs, there is a nice pineapple bun nearby, and Feitao Bakery costs 3 yuan each. If you feel hungry after shopping, you can check in and replenish your energy! #shenzhen #shenzhenhuaqiangbei #shenzhentourism

When it comes to the world's largest technology and electronics shopping district - Huaqiangbei🏙️, many people are eager to go there💓, but because of the large area and large population🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️, they are completely confused after arriving😵. They don't know where to start shopping🤷‍♀️, let alone how to shop🤷‍♂️? 📍Transportation Guide🚇: Exit A or D of Huaqiang Road Subway Station on Line 1, Exit 9 of Huaqiang North Station on Line 2 and Line 7, Exit D2 or E2 of Huaqiang North Station on Line 7, Exit A2 of Huaxin Station on Line 3, and Exit C1 of Science Museum Station. These subway stations can lead to the most popular markets in Huaqiang North🏬. 💎Recommended treasure market (‼️Must-visit‼️) 1 SEG Building🏢: Go directly to SEG for computer assembly💻, computer repair, etc. There are also the most complete computer peripheral accessories🔌, ICs, chips, dedicated data cables🔋, driving recorders📹, etc.... It is recommended to go directly to the fifth floor and go down. There will be many people actively selling, and the quality and price are uneven. Therefore, it is recommended to prepare professional knowledge and price💰 strategies in advance before coming here, so as not to be cheated. Try to bargain before entering the store. 2 SEG Recreation, Industry and Economy Building 🏢: Try not to shop at the shops on the first floor. I can only say that the rent is very expensive 💸. If you really want to shop, you can go around and compare before making a decision. The second floor and above are all connected. The market aisles are particularly long 🚶‍♀️, and they mainly sell peripheral accessories for various brands of mobile phones 📱 and watches ⌚️, such as mobile phone cases, tempered films, and the popular Huaqiangbei version of earphones 🎧, watch straps, power banks, car chargers and other peripheral accessories. It's no exaggeration to say that it's one yuan 💰 per piece. Buy it and stick it yourself. If it's crooked or broken, just replace it with a new one. 100 yuan 💰 can get 100 pieces and stick them at will. There are also many trendy products in the digital circle that come out here. Promise me, no matter what you like and no matter how much the stall owner quotes you 💰, you can just say [the stall owner] and then see how the stall owner reacts, and then give the money. Whether it works or not depends on your confidence! 3 Modern Window Building: Mainly sells digital SLR 📷 and antique digital cameras 📸. It is not suitable to bring your girlfriend here 💔, because there are many beautiful ladies here to choose CCD. I heard that you can get the same CCD retro DV camera as the star for more than 100 yuan, and it only costs more than 80 yuan. There are also many places to repair 🔧 cameras, but I don’t visit this place often. 4 Huaqiangbei Electronics World🏢: It’s a huge market. I only know that it mainly sells audio-visual equipment🎥 and various branded and non-branded cameras📹. If you want to buy new ones or want to be the first to experience new products, you must check in here. There are also various industrial electronic components, as well as some spare parts such as LEDs. Anyway, the prices here are very cheap, and one is the wholesale price. #Huaqiangbei #Huaqiangbeihotel #Huaqiangbeitourism

Anyone know? It's not SEG Plaza! Don't go to the wrong building 🥹 Phone cases, tempered glass screen protectors, headphones, and smart gadgets — tons of styles and great value. You can shop all afternoon and not get bored. 🚗 [Travel options] ▪️Metro: Lines 2 and 7 to Huaqiangbei Station. Exit D1 is an 80m walk from the station and is the most direct. ▪️Driving: Set your navigation to SEG Communication Market (Industrial Building). Parking near Huaqiangbei is limited and expensive. Prioritize the metro! ▪️Taxi: Set the destination to 1034 Huaqiangbei Road (Industrial Building) ⏰Best time: 1:00 PM–6:00 PM Most stalls only fully open after noon. If you go too early, many won't be open. Vendors start packing up after 6:00 PM, so don't make a wasted trip. 🏬Floor guide (follow it to avoid getting lost) 1F | smart watches, hair dryers, Bluetooth speakers, trendy small appliances 2F | tempered glass screen protectors, charging cables, watch bands, headphone accessories 3–5F | 🔥phone case hub: film, silicone, mirrored, plush, and niche styles — everything's here, so you can choose freely 💡Shopping tips and pitfalls 1. Asking price script: If buying one, just ask "How much is this?" If buying multiple, ask "How will you price it for bulk?" to get a lower quote. 2. Street-facing stalls on the first floor often charge a premium. For the same item, go upstairs to compare prices. Compare 2–3 shops to avoid overpaying. 3. It gets very crowded. Watch your phone and bag, and keep your belongings safe. ✨Tips: No need to dress like a wholesale buyer — retail customers are welcome. Weekends are packed. If you want to browse slowly, try a weekday afternoon!

Stay here to explore Huaqiangbei and Dongmen 🏙️ High-value apartment with amazing amenities If you're visiting Shenzhen and your goal is to explore Huaqiangbei and Dongmen Old Street, choosing Ruiya for your stay will save you so much commuting time 👍 🚇 Located near Science Museum Station, you can take the subway directly to major shopping districts. You can walk to Huaqiangbei SEG Plaza and quickly reach Dongmen Old Street by subway, giving you great freedom for shopping and getting around. The room is clean and fresh, with comfortable wood-style decor, and the bedding is soft, making for a great rest. A special shout-out to the room amenities ❗ It comes fully equipped with a washer, dryer, and refrigerator, just like living in your own home. After a long day of exploring, you can come back, lounge on the sofa, and binge-watch shows—it's so relaxing 🈵 Xichong is a hidden gem by the sea that you can reach directly via Metro Line 8. There are two main ways to enjoy it: lounging on the beach and hiking the coastline. 🏖️ Beach fun Xichong Beach requires an admission ticket of ¥20/person. The upside is that it's much less crowded than Dameisha or Xiaomeisha, and the water is clear with fine sand. It's perfect for wading, picnicking, and just zoning out. You can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach. There are also snack shops, but options are limited, so it's recommended to bring your own snacks. Shower facilities are available in the shops by the beach, but you need to make a purchase to use them. 🚶 Coastal hiking (highly recommended) The most popular way to enjoy Xichong is hiking along the coastal boardwalk. The entire route runs right along the sea, and the water looks like jelly under the sunlight—it's very therapeutic to walk and take photos along the way. 📌 Classic route Take Metro Line 8 to Xichong Station, Exit A → Walk through the Graffiti Tunnel → Get on the boardwalk → Spiral Sea-Viewing Bridge → Beizaijiao Lighthouse → Wanghai Library → Xiaomeisha Station, Exit C. The total distance is about 7–8 km, and it takes about 3–4 hours to walk and take photos. Most of this route is on a flat boardwalk, so it's perfectly fine for beginners. 📸 Must-visit photo spots Spiral Sea-Viewing Bridge: White spiral staircase + 270° panoramic sea view. The view of the jelly-colored sea from above is amazing Beizaijiao Lighthouse: Red and white striped lighthouse against the blue sea and sky. It's best to take photos before sunset for the perfect atmosphere Wanghai Library: Container-style architecture, sea views + coffee. It's the perfect place to rest when you're tired Graffiti Tunnel: Right outside the station, great for trendy, cool photos 10:00 AM–12:00 PM: The water color is the most beautiful. With the sun shining obliquely on the sea, the jelly-green color is most distinct. 🌤️ Afternoon (approx. 2:00 PM–4:30 PM) ⭐ Highly recommended The afternoon light is soft, and the colors of the sea and the layers of the sky are at their richest, making it the best time for taking photos. 🌇 Evening (approx. 4:30 PM–6:30 PM) If you want to wait for the sunset light, this is the best time for gentle portraits. However, keep in mind how long the hiking route takes—if you walk the coastline from Xichong to Xiaomeisha (7–8 km), you might finish just as evening sets in if you start in the afternoon, so plan your timing carefully.

Stay here to explore Huaqiangbei and Dongmen 🏙️ High-value apartment with amazing facilities If you are traveling to Shenzhen and your goal is to visit Huaqiangbei and Dongmen Old Street, choosing Ruiya for your stay will really save a lot of commute time 👍 🚇 Close to Science Museum Metro Station, with direct metro access to major shopping districts. You can walk to Huaqiangbei SEG Plaza, and it is a quick metro ride to Dongmen Old Street, giving you great freedom for shopping and getting around. The rooms are clean and fresh, with comfortable wood-style decor, and the bedding is soft for a great rest. A special shout-out to the room amenities ❗ It comes fully equipped with a washer/dryer and refrigerator, just like living in your own home. After a tiring day of shopping, coming back to the room to lounge on the sofa and binge-watch shows is the ultimate way to relax. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, so you won't have to worry about finding late-night snacks. Highly recommended for friends traveling together. Central Park spans a large area from north to south, and the metro stations cover several stops, so choosing the wrong entrance can really add 10,000 steps to your walk. Here is a guide to help you navigate the park efficiently by area. 🚇 9:00 AM–12:00 PM Start from Zone E Zone E is the most beautiful and essential part of the park; we recommend starting here. How to get there: Take Metro Line 3 or 7 to Huaxin Station, Exit F. It is about a 10-minute walk to the East Gate of Zone E. You can also use Exit D, which is a bit closer. Lakeside walk: There are bald cypress tunnels on both sides of the entrance with great lighting. Walk around the lake along the curved wooden boardwalk. You can see black swans, mandarin ducks, and egrets in the lake, and if you are lucky, you might see children feeding the fish. Floating Instagrammable chairs: Located by the lake, facing the lawn with the bald cypresses behind you. It is a great photo spot, especially in the early morning when it is less crowded. Banyan tree shaded tunnel: On the north side of Zone E. In the afternoon, sunlight filters through the leaves, making it perfect for casual photos. 🌿 12:00 PM–2:00 PM Head to Zone D + Zone C There is an underground culvert connecting Zone E and Zone D, so you can pass through directly without crossing the street. Zone D Stone Creek Bridge: Features creek scenery reminiscent of Guilin, and the sunlight on the stone bridge makes for great photos. People often fish for small minnows in the creek, and you might spot egrets. ⚠️ Recent reports indicate some construction in Zone D, so please check the map before you go. Zone C Palm Garden: A large area of palm trees and a huge lawn, giving off island vibes. You can lay out a picnic mat to rest. Electric scooters are available for rent at the East Gates of Zone E and Zone C. 🎨 2:00 PM–5:00 PM Finish at Zone A (Optional) If you have the energy, you can continue north to Zone A. You will likely need to bike or take a sightseeing cart to get there. Geometric Playground: A free children's playground with Mondrian-style colors. It has swings, slides, climbing frames, and a sandpit—it is quite therapeutic even for adults to watch. Large lawn: Perfect for picnics, flying kites, or just lying down—a great way to relax and wrap up your trip. Transportation: About a 10-minute walk from Gangxia Station (Line 1) or Chiwei Station (Line 7).

If you are visiting Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei for business or leisure, you must try this Ruia Serviced Apartment! 📍The location is unbeatable. It is in the Huaqiang South business district, near Science Museum Metro Station. SEG Plaza and CITIC City Plaza are within walking distance. The surrounding area is packed with commercial districts, making it a one-stop destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment. 🛏The rooms are decorated in a simple, fresh style with spacious layouts and high-quality bedding. My favorite part is that the apartment is fully equipped with appliances, including a washer with a drying function, so you don't have to save up a pile of dirty laundry on short trips! The fridge is great for storing drinks and snacks, making it perfect for long stays. Overall, it is quiet and clean with attentive front desk service. It offers great value for money and is suitable for both business trips and outings with friends. Relaxed vibes. It is not about "dressing up without looking like you tried," but rather a visual language that conveys a state of "I am comfortable, and I am not trying too hard." 🎨 Color palette Korean-style spaces rarely use high-saturation colors. Instead, they use large areas of low-saturation base colors, accented with small touches of warm or contrasting colors. Cream white/milky white: The most classic base color. Micro-cement walls and textured art paint use the texture of the materials themselves to replace complex designs. Light wood/natural wood: Distressed solid wood tables and chairs, wooden beam ceilings, and vintage Windsor chairs preserve the natural grain of the wood. Accent colors: Hazy blue + warm orange contrast, bright yellow cabinet doors, and light blue mosaic tiles—only taking up 5%–10% of the area—keep it clean but not boring. 🪵 Materials and soft furnishings The Korean-style atmosphere does not rely on hard renovations, but rather on material textures and layered soft furnishings: Walls: Textured art paint, white brick tiles, and micro-cement—tactile but not flashy. Soft furnishing details: Hand-drawn posters, fabric banners, handwritten chalkboard slogans, cotton and linen curtains, and rattan accessories. Lighting: Vintage bulb chandeliers, brass wall lamps, and warm yellow light create a soft, dappled effect. Greenery: Monstera, ivy, and dried flowers—used as sparse accents, not overcrowded. IP dolls: Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, and other Japanese IP characters fill the display cabinets, adding a soft, healing touch. 👗 Outfit tips When taking photos in a Korean-style space, there are a few key points for your outfit: Color palette: Mainly black, white, gray, and low-saturation colors, with 5%–10% accent colors (bright shoes, contrasting bags, bright belts). Layering: Layer camisoles over shirts or vests over T-shirts. Mix sheer materials with solid fabrics to create depth and a sense of lightness. Hair and makeup: Smooth, shiny hair with a voluminous style, clear and light makeup, soft blush, and subtle highlighter—hair and makeup account for half of the vibe. Accessories: Necklaces, hair clips, silk scarves, and hats—they do not have to be expensive, but they should look high-quality. 📸 Photography essentials The biggest difference between Korean-style photos and Japanese/Western styles is: look at the camera less, and capture more candid moments. Three things to avoid looking at: your dessert, out the window, or the props in your hands. Don't face the camera directly: Turn your body 30°–45° to the side to look slimmer and fit the Korean style. Keep your hands busy: Tableware, cameras, milk tea, and bags are all great props. Lighting is key: Find a window seat and let the light hit you from a 45° angle to make your facial features look more defined.

Alone, recharging at Honghu Park 🔋 The bald cypresses healed me I chose a weekend, slept in, and suddenly thought— "Why not go to Honghu Park to see the bald cypresses?" I strolled in slowly from the southeast gate, and in an instant was surrounded by a peaceful sea of red No one rushed me, and there was no set route, so I let my steps along the lake take me wherever Leaves rustled, and the sunlight stretched the shadows long and thin Occasionally a bird fluttered past, and I suddenly realized I was standing in the middle of a warm-toned oil painting In that moment, winter in Shenzhen showed its richest colors! 📸 Tips for shooting on the go 1️⃣ Enter from the southeast gate. The cypress grove along the lake on the right is the densest and most colorful, so you won't waste time! 2️⃣ If you're alone, bring a small Bluetooth remote so you can set the angle and capture freely 3️⃣ After 4 PM the light is softest, and the slanting tree shadows falling across you make for especially good shots 📍 Honghu Park (enter via southeast gate) 🚇 Line 7 Honghu station exits A/D. I just finished my trip to Shenzhen. Honestly, the ocean views are stunning, the city is clean, and the vibe is amazing. By avoiding the scorching peak season, visiting in September–October makes for a much more comfortable trip. Here is a summary of my real experience and some tips to avoid pitfalls for those planning a trip! Why do I recommend visiting Shenzhen in September–October? 1️⃣ Say goodbye to the sauna-like weather; it feels much more comfortable September–October in Shenzhen sheds the intense heat of midsummer, and the humidity drops, so it's not uncomfortably sticky. The daytime temperature is pleasant, so you can walk around parks and coastal boardwalks without sweating profusely. You don't have to worry about your makeup melting, and you won't feel breathless or dizzy after walking just a few steps outdoors. 2️⃣ Fewer rainstorms and typhoons, making your itinerary more stable The random rainstorms of midsummer decrease significantly, the probability of afternoon thunderstorms drops, and coastal attractions are generally open as usual. You can visit Yangmeikeng, Judiaosha, the Yantian Coastal Boardwalk, and Dameisha/Xiaomeisha with peace of mind, as temporary closures are rare. You won't have to travel all this way just to hide from the rain. It's no longer muggy after the rain, making travel feel safer. 3️⃣ Fewer tourists, no need to deal with crowds With the summer peak season over, the crowds at major popular attractions have thinned out. ✅ Window of the World, Happy Valley: Wait times are shorter, so you don't have to queue for long and can enjoy more rides. ✅ Shenzhen Bay Park, Dameisha/Xiaomeisha: You won't have strangers in all your photos, making it easier to capture clean, atmospheric shots. ✅ Dongmen Old Street: It's no longer so crowded that you can't move, making the shopping and dining experience much better. 4️⃣ The ocean looks great, perfect for photos With more sunny days and less fog, the seawater appears a clear, deep blue. You can take healing seaside photos without filters, and they look very similar to the popular photos online. Must-know tips to avoid pitfalls when visiting Shenzhen in September–October! A summary of hard-earned experience 🚗 Transportation tips 1. During morning and evening rush hours, prioritize the subway (Lines 1, 2, and 11). Traffic jams are common during peak hours, so the subway is more efficient. 2. Do not take unlicensed taxis or private cars by the roadside at the beach; they will overcharge you. Stick to legitimate ride-hailing services and public buses. 🏨 Accommodation tips 1. I don't recommend staying in homestays around Dameisha/Xiaomeisha; prices skyrocket during holidays, and they aren't great value. ✅ Line 1, Luohu Old Street: Lots of food, great for shopping and eating. ✅ Line 2, Shekou: Quiet and artistic, very convenient for watching the sunset. ✅ Line 11, Bao'an Center: Budget-friendly and great value. 🏖️ Attraction tips 1. For Dameisha/Xiaomeisha during holidays, be sure to book in advance via their official WeChat account. Try to arrive early; if you arrive late, the spots will be poor. 2. Remember to haggle when buying electronics in Huaqiangbei. You can just stop by the observation deck on the top floor of the SEG Plaza while you're there. 3. No need to make a special trip to Dongmen Old Street. If you want authentic snacks, go to Shekou Old Street instead. 🦞 Dining tips 1. When buying seafood at the beach, remember to check that they drain the water before weighing to prevent them from adding seawater to increase the weight. 2. Souvenirs and creative products around tourist attractions have high markups; I don't recommend buying them. Comprehensive itinerary for Shenzhen in September–October ✅ 8:00 AM–10:00 AM: Shenzhen Bay Park, Talent Park. Fewer people, good light, great for walking and watching the sea. ✅ 11:00 AM–3:00 PM: Plan for indoors! Shenzhen Museum, major shopping malls, art galleries—avoid the sun. ✅ After 5:00 PM: Sea World in Shekou, OH Bay. Watch the stunning seaside sunset; the evening breeze is pleasant. Overall, Shenzhen is a coastal city well worth visiting. In September–October, the temperature is right, there are many sunny days, and the crowds have thinned out. Whether you're just wandering around the city or watching the sea, the experience is great. If you're looking for a comfortable vacation and great seaside photos, prioritize traveling in September–October!

The super popular seafood stall from Zhuhai has actually opened in Huaqiangbei. I was hooked after just one visit 🤤 The seafood is just so delicious... The restaurant has a huge seafood tank, the ingredients are really fresh, and it's perfect for team building or family dinners~ ⚠️ Two tips to avoid pitfalls: · Super crowded at meal times ⏰ — This Huaqiangbei location became a hit shortly after opening. It's packed during dinner and late-night hours. I recommend arriving before 5:30 PM or after 9:00 PM to avoid the peak · Easy to over-order drinks 🍺 — There's a whole wall of self-service drinks right at the entrance. You pick them out with a basket like in a supermarket. There's a huge variety, but don't try to grab everything you see; you won't be able to finish it all 🔥 Must-order list, tried and tested, you can't go wrong: 🦐 Curry Shrimp with Roe — The shrimp heads are full of roe! One suck and you'll be hooked 😋 The shrimp are quite large, and the meat is firm and bouncy. The curry sauce is thick and gets better with every bite!! Plus, every shrimp is coated in curry; it's so good with rice!! 🦐 Signature Golden Crown Thai-Style Giant River Prawns — This Thai sauce is amazing~ even better than traditional raw marinated seafood 😋 It's sweet and spicy, so refreshing, perfect for summer!! The fresh shrimp used for raw marination are so tender and bouncy!! 🔥 Typhoon Shelter Stir-fried Beef Ho Fun — The staple dish I order every time. It has that perfect "wok hei" 🔥 The Typhoon Shelter style makes the stir-fried ho fun even more fragrant. Eating it with the aroma of garlic sprouts and the tenderness of the beef is just so satisfying~ 📸 Best photo spot test: In front of the self-service drink wall on the right side of the entrance. The whole wall of beer and soda creates such a great vibe. I recommend taking photos while the seafood is hot. Close-ups of the curry sauce coating the shrimp look tempting even without editing 📷 ⏰ Wait time test: I arrived at 6:30 PM on a weekday and waited about 20 minutes. It's even more crowded on weekends and during late-night hours, so arriving before 5:30 PM is safer 🅿️ Parking guide: There are parking lots around the Overseas Decoration Building. It's about a 240-meter walk from Exit C of Huaqiangbei Station on Metro Lines 2/7. Public transport is recommended 🚇 📍 Restaurant name: Haiwang Xinyue Stall (Huaqiangbei Branch) 📌 Address: Room 203, Building 1, Overseas Decoration Building, 122 Zhenhua Road, Huaqiangbei Subdistrict, Futian District, Shenzhen 🕒 Business hours: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, 5:00 PM–4:00 AM (next day) 💰 Average cost: 80–120 CNY (depends on your appetite; the 163 CNY set meal for two is great value) 📝 Practical dining tips: · Must-order combo: Curry Shrimp with Roe + Signature Golden Crown Thai-Style Giant River Prawns + Typhoon Shelter Stir-fried Beef Ho Fun. A classic, can't go wrong 📝 · Self-service drink guide 🍺 — Grab a basket at the entrance and pick your own. There's a huge variety of beer and soda, plus drinks from all over the world, all at affordable prices · Suitable for: Friend gatherings, family dinners, late-night snacks. The cyberpunk-style decor is perfect for young people 💼 🍃 Nearby attractions map (ordered by distance from near to far): 1. Huaqiangbei Museum — About a 5-minute walk. Shenzhen Garden Expo Park, a truly underrated hidden gem 🌲 I went to Shenzhen Garden Expo Park and I really regret not coming sooner! This is truly a hidden gem in my heart. With gardens of different styles gathered together, it never feels repetitive, and it's enough for you to stroll around leisurely for a whole day~ I snapped a few photos. There are traditional Lingnan-style pavilions with upturned eaves, waterside pavilions with white walls and grey tiles, multi-story ancient pagodas, and the super stunning greenery archway and that huge orange honeycomb installation! Yesterday I was in Guangzhou with another English-speaking client. I woke up at 8:00 AM today, still in Guangzhou, when a US client asked me to accompany him to Huaqiangbei in Shenzhen at 11:00 AM. I had originally planned to have lunch with a friend. My brain wasn't fully awake yet, so I quoted a price. The client didn't object. But the schedule was too tight, and I hadn't even had breakfast yet. I asked if we could meet between 12:00–12:30. First, 11:00 was a bit too early, and second, it was hard for me to get there in such a short time. The client finally agreed. I immediately rushed from Guangzhou to Huaqiangbei—in ancient times, this would have been an "800-li urgent dispatch." I arrived at 12:00. Fearing I wouldn't have time for lunch later, I splurged at Starbucks on coffee and a sandwich—it cost me a fortune. While waiting for my order, I messaged the client to say we would meet at 12:20. Then I immediately ran to the hotel lobby on the 23rd floor to use the restroom. When I got back, my food was ready. I wolfed down the bread and took a sip of coffee. I sent a photo to show where I was. The client said he wanted to look at mobile phone screens and motherboards. I told him they were on the other side. He said, "Let's buy glasses first." I asked, "AI glasses?" After confirming, we went to the first floor of SEG to look. We checked a few shops and found one that was suitable. Later, I accompanied him to the second floor across the street to continue looking. Once that was settled, we headed to Jinlong. It was probably around 1:30 PM when we arrived. The entire market was deserted; I couldn't see anyone. Only 1 out of 100 stalls was open. I was a bit confused. After asking around, I found out they don't open until 3:00–4:00 PM. Also, because of a recent conference, many people hadn't come to open their stalls. Then we headed to Maoye for a meal. I'm a master at saving money; the two of us spent CNY 69.9. When checking out, the US client asked me how to tip. I told him there's no need to tip here. Then, remembering how Mrs. Royce complained about the tipping culture when she first went to the US, I added that while there's no tipping culture in China, it's acceptable to tip in Western restaurants and hotels. As soon as I said it, I felt like I had dug a hole for myself. If he doesn't tip me later, it'll be my own doing. After lunch, we went to Luohu Commercial City, walked around for a while, and then headed back to Jinlong. It was almost 4:00 PM, and the stalls were open. However, we walked through two aisles and didn't see anyone selling mobile phone screens. I knew that if we kept walking like this, we wouldn't find any in 100 days. I asked one of the shop owners if my client could see some mobile phone screens. She was a bit guarded, so I repeated it in her local dialect—my brain is equipped with an "AI chip," so I can switch languages at any time. The shop owner then took me to another shop next door, where they took out a mobile phone screen for us to see. It wasn't in a foam bag, and they didn't open it. Actually, they didn't have the samples the client wanted to see; everyone was afraid to sell anything. Fine. I then asked where to look for mobile phone motherboards. They said Feiyang, so I went to Feiyang. Feiyang was even more extreme—I won't even go into it. In short, as a Huaqiangbei veteran, I failed to help my client find what he needed. What used to be as easy as eating a meal turned into a disaster today. And in the end, I didn't get a tip either—I dug my own grave.

I read a lot of guides before going, but after I got there, I realized you don't really need them unless you're buying "big-ticket items." When you come out of Huaqiangbei Metro Station, there are clusters of malls on both sides. Some are actually connected inside but just have different mall names. I went to the SEG Communication Market, which is also called SEG Plaza. At first, I researched carefully, thinking they were very different, but later I realized you can just exit the subway and walk into any door; they're all pretty much the same. The malls close around 7:30 PM (some stalls stay open later). I didn't arrive until 4:30 PM, so I was short on time. I stayed in one mall and didn't shop around; I just bought things as soon as I saw something suitable. I'm not good at bargaining and haven't shopped anywhere that requires bargaining in years. In the end, I bought: 1. Apple-style noise-canceling headphones, CNY 80. I just bought them randomly without asking about the specs. The shop owner happened to let me test the sound effects on the spot, and I was shocked by the noise cancellation at the time. They wanted over CNY 100, but they lowered the price for me. I thought I'd buy them for fun and use them as a backup for my own Apple Gen 2s~ (After getting back, the music quality is just average. I don't know if it's because the noise cancellation makes the vocals less clear, or if the noise-canceling mode is just useless for phone calls. I wonder if I got scammed.) 2. Paper-like screen protector for iPad, CNY 30. It's magnetic, and they wouldn't budge on the price at all. Haven't tried it yet. 4. Handheld fan, CNY 40. After I bought it, I asked at another shop and they offered it to me for CNY 30, even though the shop owner there was asking for CNY 65. 5. Laptop stand + magnetic phone stand, CNY 108. I bought them together. I got the better-quality aluminum laptop/iPad stand (they had two of the same style but different materials side-by-side, so obviously I bought the better-quality one). 6. Phone screen protectors, CNY 7 * 5 = CNY 35. The quality is better than what I bought on Pinduoduo; they're privacy screens but much clearer. 7. Bling-bling phone case, CNY 20. 8. Blue patterned one (already on my phone so I didn't take a picture, but it's my favorite and the first one I bought) and metal ones (gray, black/white), CNY 90 for three, all from one shop. Honestly, overall, I feel like most of the things I bought had a high markup. I can only say I did it for convenience. These shop owners have seen too many customers; they have all sorts of tricks to make you feel like you didn't overpay. Some look like they aren't in a rush to sell but ask for the highest prices, some have great service and provide such good emotional value that you feel like you have to buy, and some let you bargain for ages just to knock off a few bucks~ As for high-end watches, CCD cameras, etc., I didn't have time to look at them. It's impossible to get a high-end experience and quality for a low price. For rational, pragmatic consumers, don't take Huaqiangbei products too seriously; just do it for fun. In short, for me, Huaqiangbei is a tourist destination, and it is for most people too. If they don't make money off you, who are they going to make it off of, haha~ The real wholesalers are the ones in slippers carrying big black bags walking super fast~

Visiting Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei for the first time can be overwhelming, and it's incredibly easy to lose your way. That’s because it’s not just a shopping mall—it’s an entire universe of electronics. From smartphones, headphones, and smartwatches to camera gear, computer components, and all sorts of quirky tech gadgets, the selection is absolutely dizzying. If it’s your first time, I recommend against “buying on sight.” Instead, have a plan! 🚇【Step 1: How to Get There】 The easiest way is to take the Shenzhen Metro to Huaqiangbei Station and walk into the heart of the district. For first-timers, I suggest starting near SEG Plaza and then branching out to explore the surrounding electronic markets. 🏢【Step 2: How to Navigate】 📍 Stop 1: SEG Electronics Market Start here if you want to soak in the most iconic atmosphere of Huaqiangbei. 📍 Stop 2: Huaqiang Electronics World If you’re into accessories, peripherals, or cool tech gadgets, this spot is well worth your time. 📍 Step 3: Don't Rush Your Purchase! The ultimate rule for surviving Huaqiangbei is simple: Look, ask, compare, and only then pay. Prices for the exact same item can vary wildly between shops. I recommend checking with at least three different vendors to confirm the specific model, specs, and features before pulling the trigger. 🛒【A Pro-Shopper’s Checklist】 ✔ Know exactly what you’re looking for ✔ Clarify the model, specs, and version ✔ Compare prices across multiple shops ✔ Don't be afraid to ask for a better deal ✔ Inspect the product on-site before paying ✔ For big-ticket items, double-check the warranty and after-sales support ⚠️【Key Advice for First-Timers】 Don’t let a rock-bottom price tempt you into a snap decision. When it comes to big brands, second-hand items, or expensive electronics, always verify the source, condition, included accessories, and warranty coverage. The most fascinating thing about Huaqiangbei isn't just the low prices. It’s seeing firsthand how a city weaves technology into the fabric of everyday life. From tiny transistors to the latest smart devices, this is the most authentic and vibrant side of Shenzhen’s tech scene. ✨ My Recommended Itinerary: Arrive at Huaqiangbei in the morning or around noon ⬇️ Start at SEG Electronics Market ⬇️ Head to Huaqiang Electronics World for tech gadgets ⬇️ Compare shops and verify your picks ⬇️ Finish by exploring the Huaqiangbei Pedestrian Street If you’re a techie, a gadget lover, or just want to experience Shenzhen’s most iconic urban culture, Huaqiangbei is a must-visit. 📍 Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen ⭐ Recommended Stay: 3–5 hours 🎯 Perfect for: Tech enthusiasts, gadget fans, shopping lovers, and urban explorers Guide

This isn't just one building, but an entire commercial district. It might not look far, but between finding the markets, navigating the floors, and asking for prices, it's easy to spend the whole afternoon walking in circles. I've organized the market distribution in Huaqiangbei and 5 practical routes. First, decide what you want to buy, then choose your route: ① Accessories shopping route | Approx. 3 hours Huaqiangbei Station → Huitong Communications, Pacific Security, Longsheng Accessories → The SEG "Big Three" Suitable for finding phone cases, lanyards, stands, charging cables, and various small digital accessories. ② Second-hand digital route | Approx. 3 hours Huaqiangbei Station → Yuanwang → China Second-hand Electronic Equipment Trading Center Suitable for looking at second-hand mobile phones, computers, and other devices. Don't rush to make a deal at the first shop; ask about the model, condition, repair history, and after-sales service first. ③ Photography equipment route | Approx. 2–3 hours Huaqiangbei Station E2 → Modern Window → The SEG "Big Three" → SEG Plaza for accessories If you're looking for CCDs, cameras, lenses, and photography peripherals, this is the route to take. ④ First-timer comprehensive route | Approx. 5 hours If it's your first time and you want to see everything, take this route. Get to know brand prices and get some hands-on experience first, then go to the markets to compare prices; it will be easier to judge whether something is worth buying. ⑤ Relaxed browsing route | Approx. 3 hours Huaqiang Road Station → Huaqiang Electronic World → Manha / Modern Window → Dining nearby If you don't want to walk until your legs give out, this route is enough. The right way to experience Huaqiangbei isn't to walk through every market in one day, but to look at the map, choose your category, and set your route first. I recommend saving these two images in advance. Stalls, prices, and business hours may change, so please refer to the actual situation on the day of your visit. What category do you most want to explore in Huaqiangbei? I won't say too much; I'll just save you the trouble of planning the route.
