Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ueno-Okachimachi

Although the room is small, it's very clean. Even though it was renovated in 2017, it still feels very new. The bathroom is a typical Japanese unit bath, and it's spotless. The location is also very convenient; it's just around the corner from the subway station. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The price is relatively affordable, so I highly recommend it.

The location is fantastic, super convenient for transportation! The Metro, JR Line, and Keisei Electric Railway are all within walking distance. For food, there's Ameyokocho, and for shopping, Uniqlo and Matsuzakaya are all within a five-minute walk. It's lively day and night, but surprisingly quiet inside the hotel. I stayed for three nights, and on the second night, I saw a cockroach, which was a bit unexpected. If you wake up too late, unused breakfast vouchers can be used for lunch on the same day, but the food was uninspired and the restaurant was quite deserted.
