Awesome location and place

We needed a place to stay when we attended a wedding in Francistown and had very few leads on a good and comfortable place to stay during out two nights stay. The hotel seemed to have decent ratings online and the immigration staff at the Botswana Border were helpful enough to recommend the place over other hotels in the city. We were definetly not dissappointed. The place is well located right in the cbd but is in a quiet enough area. We were able to walk from the hotel into town to do some shopping. The place is also within a small shopping centre with a restaurant, botiques and other small shops. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and spacious. We loved the vintage design of the rooms though we felt the carpet in the corridors was a bit dated. The hotel also has a very secure parking space and a restaurant. Owing to our schedule we only dined there for breakfast on one of the days. We are not too sure if they have buffet breakfast as we were served a la carte. Our meals were generally well prepared and service was excellent. All in all a good, clean, secure and comfortabe place to stay.

We drove up and down the busy streets of Francistown to find the hotel, in a shopping centre, of all places. Some brown signage would be a huge advantage. The hotel had its own secure parking area with security guards which was fantastic. Our room was on the first floor. Didn't hear road noise and slept well. This was the closest we got to a typical hotel. Dinner was available at a nearby restaurant upstairs in the shopping centre, part of the hotel, and a good breakfast choice was available at a coffee shop, also part of the group. Next time have to fit a coffee and cake stop in here!

Note booked 2 rooms. Upon arriving the front desk couldn't find our reservation. Eventually that was sorted. When we got to our rooms, there were no towels. However the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. At breakfast we the food was good, however we had to follow up to ask for our drinks, which only ended up arriving after we finished eating even though we ordered drinks before the food. We had asked for late check out and to keep our luggage in 1 of the rooms. After moving everything to one room and going downstairs we got asked to move our luggage to the other room as they had a check in, which was a little inconvenient but we did so and carried on with our day, upon arriving back before the scheduled check out time we go to the room to find all our belongings were gone. Went back to the front desk and they didn't know were our belongings were. To find out house keeping moved everything back to the original room. When asking to speak to the manager and voicing our concerns, we got a less then interested apology until we said our reviews off our stay would reflect to which his attitude then changed. The internet was also sub par. The lodge itself, we nice and affordable, however the staff have some way to go.

What an amazing Hotel after a long drive from Kasane . Kimberley was tremendous and added a really happy touch to our trip . The food at the Grill was also fantastic.the rooms were nice and big with comfortable king size beds and the breakfast room was also great

The room was nice however upon arriving the bed was not made and someone came to install DSTv shortly after I entered the room. On the 3rd day after being moved to a new room I had another technician disturb me to do something with the Tv. On this occasion housekeeping opened the door without invite. Generally, just poor consideration and quite noisy from the inside and out.
