Radisson Blu Hotel, Port Elizabeth

Nice hotel, located on the Marine Drive. We had a wonderful and spacious room with sea view. Staff was very nice and friendly even if sometimes a bit slow, especially at the restaurant.

Ok but not good, bar is the same. View is good.

Great Room and service. Breakfast was delicious and location was perfect.

Where to start... I had high expectations for Radisson Blu, but my stay was pretty disappointing. First off, check-in was delayed because the rooms weren’t ready, and even after waiting, they still weren’t properly cleaned. There was even an empty milk carton left on the desk, which didn’t inspire much confidence in their housekeeping. The room itself was pretty dull, aside from the great view. It also needed some serious maintenance—bits of wood were coming off, and the paint was peeling in places. The biggest issue was the water from the taps—it came out brown, which was a major red flag. Overall, for the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay here again when there are likely better options out there.
