Four Points by Sheraton Kalamazoo

Overall, my stay was absolutely fantastic. The staff ensured I had a pleasant experience, and I had no issues with the room or the property in general.

Not a good experience The computers were down so they could not look up my reservation, I was required to complete some paperwork in order to get my room. I was given a room that was occupied so I had to go back to the desk to get another room. I was complimented with a breakfast voucher and the food was terrible.

They gave us a key to a room, twice, that was occupied. They corrected it, after two attempts. Carpets looked dirty. Exterior needed TLC. Staff was as helpful as they could be, just didn’t seem to be run well.

The rooms at the Four Points Sheraton Kalamazoo were not like the photos online. The hotel is old, the decor is old, the whole room was not user friendly. The room setup was not as advertised and lacking. The neighborhood was not dangerous but it was definitely not pretty.

Second time not a charm I stayed here a couple years ago. It was better then, when it was a Sheraton property. It's now a Marriott. Problems began before we even arrived, when I received an e-mail to check in early. I went thru the procedure, but the desk clerk said "we don't send those out." OK, but I DO have an email. So we got in. The sleeping room needs a refresh. Completely. Seals were broken on the windows, the toilet wobbled, there's no outlets that are convenient, just a poorly laid out room. Worst in the room was the coffee. One cup worth, but it was HORRIBLE. They put out coffee in the lobby, but it was ice cold at 8AM on a Friday. Yummy. We didn't eat at the restaurant. I won't be back.

Great staff and great property. Always a great stay. Convenient for me and my team
