The service attitude was perfunctory, and the check-in process was complicated and slow. Even if you just had a question, you had to queue from the beginning. There was a noticeable difference in service attitude towards Caucasians versus Asians, even though the front desk staff were all of Asian descent…

Perfect night away - a beautiful modern hotel and rooms with fantastic views. Very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful.
We had cocktails at Cirq , dinner at Woodcut and breakfast at Epicurean. Had great food , drinks and service at all 3. Fantastic buffet breakfast !!

Disappointing Stay for a Special Occasion – Expected More from a 5-Star Hotel
Stayed 4 nights with my daughter for her surprise birthday staycation. Upgraded to a Harbour Bridge View room on Level 23 ($715/night), but the view was mostly of a vacant construction site – very underwhelming for the price. Noisy interconnecting room and loud sports cars between 12–2am made it hard to sleep. Breakfast ($65pp) was below expectations – dried sausages and barely cooked bacon, though staff were lovely. Room service on our last night took nearly an hour – ordered at 7:38pm, food arrived at 8:30pm. As a solo mum, this was a trip we had saved up for a long time and wanted it to be truly special, but we were left feeling disappointed. Expected more from a 5-star hotel.
The positive highlights of our stay was the lovely big bath and high-quality shower amenities, which added a touch of luxury. Fantastic location and beautiful walk along the waterfront!!
For the price we paid, the view fell far short of what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. In hindsight, the lower rate Deluxe King Room overlooking the water would have been a much better choice!

I pre-booked a one-night stay with breakfast for two through Trip.com for 1999 RMB. The hotel lobby boasts high ceilings and a grand, impressive feel. Plus, the back exit leads directly to the waterfront promenade. I was given a room on the 16th floor with a view of Darling Harbour. The room itself was huge, probably over 70 square meters, and featured a lot of mirror elements. All the lighting and curtains could be controlled via an iPad on the bedside table, which felt quite high-tech. The shower and toilet facilities were very new and worked perfectly; I'd say the hardware here is the best among the five-star hotels in Sydney. I went to breakfast around 7 AM, and it wasn't crowded at all. The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, but the taste was just so-so. On the 5th floor, right next to the restaurant, there's an outdoor infinity pool where you can relax and enjoy the breeze after a swim.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip to Sydney. The views are beautiful, but the mattress is terrible. It's incredibly soft, and the pillows are super hard. Every night I felt like I'd been beaten up, waking up with aches all over.
Overall, the service was okay. The room service staff were particularly friendly, always with a big smile 😊. However, some of the other service personnel seemed a bit 'mean' and impolite.
My driver was in a Mercedes, and one of the reception staff at the entrance was extremely warm towards my driver, completely ignoring me standing there with a pile of luggage. They didn't offer to help with my bags or even load them into the car. Unbelievable!

Fabulous hotel room to celebrate out wedding anniversary.
Room is big , luxury and view is beautiful.
Something may need to aware: the sink in the bathroom is a bit stuck, the water draining very slow.
The edge of the shower area, mould started to build, may need to repair and replace the silicon on the edge .
