Truly surprised by some sort of “𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘫𝘰” in 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 🔴
Out of a sudden, I saw that there was one room available at 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 for one night.
This is something incredible, because, especially in summertime (peak season) this place is fully booked months in advance; so we were really lucky.
Inmediately, I didn't hesitate and pressed 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞! And there we go, we got a spot to stay and experience this magical place on our own.
𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 🔴 is a private residential building by the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮 🌊 in the town of 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗲, near 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 🇪🇸
Built in 1973 by Spanish architect 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤 𝘽𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡, it has become a must-visit destination for social media influencers, photographers, architecture aficionados among others.
It has become so famous, that at one point, the neighbours decided to close it off to outsiders and also installed drone inhibitors, so right now it is a "no drone-flying zone".
The 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙣𝙖𝙥 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙨 📸 is to book a room for one night in one of their privately operated apartments. That is what we did!
I must admit that before going there I expected it to be an overrated, 💰 overpriced destination that rose to fame thanks to Instagrammers wannabe 📸
Now, I confirm that even though the latter is true, its fame is well deserved
There is an “𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘻𝘰” in its 𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙚-𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙨, 𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨, 𝙏𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨-𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨, the 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙚𝙖 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙯𝙚, the 𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨, it has a “no sé bien qué” that makes it magic ✨

Yangshuo
#bucketlistreboot
This was by far one of the most interesting things I did in Yangshuo. I always wanted to try quad biking but I never got the chance. However I finally got to do it in Yangshuo. This experience lasted longer than 90 minutes. We were so lucky because we got a discount through our hotel . When traveling I value safety but I’m not wearing a helmet on my pictures because the helmets were not matching our outfits 😂😂😂😂 (don’t judge ) . Honestly I thought driving these bikes will be just the same as driving a scooter but no , quad bikes are heavier ( again don’t judge). I loved every second of this experience it was wholesome riding in between nature and neighborhoods 😂. I’ll definitely do this again without thinking twice !

Chinatown
A thriving energetic place full of sights, sounds and smells. You really get a throwback to Cantonese life from days gone by.
Many of the street sellers and stores have been there for a long time, possibly even generational so you really get a good idea of the authenticity.
You can check the markets, buy the local products and of course eat the food. Chinatown is known for its heritage buildings, graffiti murals and advertising signs.
But it's at night that Chinatown transforms. The night market comes out and it is so busy. Tons of food stalls, pop-up seating, loud noises, selfie taking etc.
Check it out for yourself. You won't regret it

Sisowath Riverside Park
We were just strolling Phnom Penh after visiting temples and we got into this beautiful park by the side the river.
Technically not on our itinerary but worth the discovery. So, when we go back to Phnom Penh soon, we will for sure include this on the list already 😁
We enjoyed the view and the breath of fresh air. There are also a lot of good restos nearby.
📍Address: Preah Sisowath Quay, Phnom Penh Cambodia
⏰ Just a public park so basically open 24 hours but we highly suggest to visit in the late afternoon to enjoy sunset 🌅

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a huge complex built in honor of Ho Chi Minh, the country’s former and revolutionary leader. His body is preserved in the mausoleum and protected by the guard. Apart from the mausoleum, you can also explore his private residence while he was serving the country which consists of his simple house, garden and pond. There is also the Vietnam War Memorial in the complex where you can learn about the brutal proxy war that went in the country for two decades until it gained independence. You will see old Soviet weapons and stories about the war here. It is a must visit for history buff like me.
Ningbo
Weekend chills at this amazing coffee + bagel shop in the heart of University of Nottingham, Ningbo 🤩
University of Nottingham is an international university based in Ningbo, with 60% of its students being foreigners hence the environment feels like youve stepped on to the streets on England 🤩
This coffee shop is opened by an alumni student who wanted to bring bespoke coffee to the campus environment and its the best delicious he made.. The lychee inspired sparkling americano enhances your taste buds and it delicious, you can get enough of it accompanied by their in house baked bagels 🤩
If your around the area, take the break and explore the campus and the weatern food outlets that it has to offer

Ubud
#bucketlistreboot
Cretya Ubud is located in the Tegalalang Rice Terrace in Ubud, Bali inside the premise of Alas Harum. You can easily reach here by motorbike or car and is very close to Ubud. The newly opened restaurant serves delicious food and features picturesque three layered pool facing the rice terraces and above the beautiful river. There is no entrance fee to get to Cretya Ubud however you need to get entrance ticket to access other photo spots.
You can also enjoy Bali Swing and other activities other than taking pictures in Bali nest and other photo spots. You can take small hike around the Alas Harum premise as well as enjoy the Bali’s famous Luwak Coffee. This is probably the best view of rice terrace and most amazing way to spend your leisure day in Ubud during your Bali trip. We went here during the pandemic and it was quiet and beautiful.
Royal Palace
I must say, you must not missed this when you are in Cambodia as it will give you a glimpse of how Royal families live in real life in comparison to what we read in fairytale books.
Other monarchies in the world are a bit strict when it comes to tourists coming in maybe for security purposes but it is great that Cambodia’s Palace is very welcoming to people.
We are grateful that we get to see their King’s royal residence and complex. 🤴
NOTE: Please read signages as there are portions that we are not allowed to come in. We must respect their rules and be responsible tourists.

Xintiandi
Xintiandi is a iconic symbol of the city, and a must to see for any tourists visiting Shanghai.
Getting there is pretty easy as it is located in downtown and all drivers know where is located or you can stay in nearby hotels.
The whole visit, including taking pictures, should last between 1 to 2 hours.
Beautiful surroundings, impressive architecture are two characteristics that make worthy to visit this place.
After the visit, you can also enjoy some shopping or nice food as there are many restaurants and shops around the area.

Shanghai
Apollo should be in your list of restaurants to try when you are staying in Shanghai. Location wise is quite convenient as it is in the city's down town so It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport.
You can spend a couple of hours having a nice dinner with good looking tasty food. There is variety of drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The food is mostly oriented to Latin-Spanish cuisine with a a great selection of sea-food, beef, chicken and ham.
It is a medium size restaurant with a nice atmosphere, service is good and the dishes are prepared with good quality ingredients. The service is incredible, I can not wait to go back and try the rest of the dishes. The menu is quite big so you need to come several times. The environment and decoration of the place is beautiful done, calm ambience perfect for talking and prices are not cheap but reasonable.
