Mithra Cave Cappadocia

Everything was great – the breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely setting, the room was clean, and the towels were fresh. The room was warm, which was perfect for our stay in March. The older staff at the reception desk were always ready and willing to help. They even offered us a late checkout at 12:00 instead of 11:00. However, we didn't end up using that option. The younger staff at reception told us the fireplace was just decorative and couldn't be lit, even though it was clear it had been used before. Also, we had filled out a room preference form on Trip.com requesting a corner room on a higher floor, but this wasn't taken into account. Despite that, it didn't spoil our overall experience.

It was so cold that it snowed, but the cave hotel was very warm inside. The shower and bed were also very clean. It snowed, and the hot air balloon tour was canceled, but the snowy scenery from this hotel's restaurant was very beautiful. There are cats, and sometimes they come into the room. They were very cute.

The hotel was spotless, and the service was consistently excellent, exceeding all my expectations! I arrived 30 minutes before check-in time, but they were able to get me into my room right away. They even helped with my luggage and guided me to the breakfast area with such thoughtfulness – they really won me over! The room had a fantastic cave-like feel, and having two separate beds was a huge plus. Honestly, they went above and beyond for everything. The views were breathtaking, and the food was incredibly delicious! I'll definitely be staying here again!

The service was great, and the owner even arranged for a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, which was very welcoming for Chinese guests.

The hotel's exterior was nice, but the room itself had a strange odor. The carpet looked very old and uncleaned, and the sheets were damp, making it impossible to get any rest. The lighting was dim, and the room frankly didn't match the pictures I saw on the platform. If you're looking to watch the hot air balloons from the terrace in the morning, you could book it, but the room quality doesn't justify the price. In the end, I couldn't stand it and had to rebook another hotel, which was quite frustrating...
