Mithra Cave Cappadocia

We had to pay extra for our 5-year-old child. The room had bunk beds, and the top bunk was covered in sand (probably due to the cave-like nature of the room). We also had to put the trash bag in the bin ourselves in the bathroom. Our room faced the road, so we heard constant car noise. On top of that, music was played several times, making it impossible to sleep well. If you're a light sleeper, definitely reconsider this place. And to top it off, someone tried to open my door in the middle of the night, turning the handle, which really startled me. The only positive was the incredibly warm and friendly hotel staff! Their service was absolutely top-notch! Staying here felt like a big waste of money since the hot air balloon didn't even fly...

Everything was great – the breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely setting, the room was clean, and the towels were fresh. The room was warm, which was perfect for our stay in March. The older staff at the reception desk were always ready and willing to help. They even offered us a late checkout at 12:00 instead of 11:00. However, we didn't end up using that option. The younger staff at reception told us the fireplace was just decorative and couldn't be lit, even though it was clear it had been used before. Also, we had filled out a room preference form on Trip.com requesting a corner room on a higher floor, but this wasn't taken into account. Despite that, it didn't spoil our overall experience.

It was so cold that it snowed, but the cave hotel was very warm inside. The shower and bed were also very clean. It snowed, and the hot air balloon tour was canceled, but the snowy scenery from this hotel's restaurant was very beautiful. There are cats, and sometimes they come into the room. They were very cute.

The hotel was spotless, and the service was consistently excellent, exceeding all my expectations! I arrived 30 minutes before check-in time, but they were able to get me into my room right away. They even helped with my luggage and guided me to the breakfast area with such thoughtfulness – they really won me over! The room had a fantastic cave-like feel, and having two separate beds was a huge plus. Honestly, they went above and beyond for everything. The views were breathtaking, and the food was incredibly delicious! I'll definitely be staying here again!

The service was great, and the owner even arranged for a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, which was very welcoming for Chinese guests.
