Breakfast with a view of elephant say no more… We heard at night you can see hippos we did not see them. Great African design and vibe in the hotel Beautiful green surroundings. Large clean rooms Very close to Kruger national Park in this amazing scenic rout Should improve their breakfast

We were booked two nights at this place for work year end function. It was such a perfect venue just to wind down the year's fatigue. As soon as one gets into the property you smell relaxation the air tells one that you're here to relax The rooms are big enough with enough space in the bathroom. Very important the aircorn came in handy as it was very hot. I didn't enjoy the food on the first but oh my oh my on the second at the Boma the chef was showing off the food was so delicious the restaurant manager Thato really looked after us. My only disappointment is that I didn't see the Hippos as I heard that they come through the waters by the restaurant, I guess next time

The stuff is very rude and unprofessional, I booked a room for 2 nights and paid for it and checked in immediately, 40 minutes later we receive a call that the cabin we are in has been double booked there for we have to leave and yet that booking was made after we had already paid and checked in. Instead of making alternative plans for the other guests they forced us out of the room we paid for to cater for other people as if we did not pay just as the other people, the treatment from the stuff especially the management was horrible and I’m never setting foot there ever again.

This hotel was fabulous, we loved the size of the rooms, and the double shower was amazing. The pool area was relaxing and the staff served drinks to us there. We had a ceiling fan which kept the room cool and there was also air conditioning, which we didn't need. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well there. It was lovely being able to sit in the dining area and watch the hippos in the evenings - what an experience. The hotel is set within easy reach of Kruger Game Reserve and The Elephant Whisperer experience. The food was lovely and there was always a good selection available. Staff were welcoming and friendly, especially a lovely lady called Pinky, who always had a smile, and was really welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again x

1) Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms 2) Good breakfast 3) Cozy dining facilities 4)Had a European feel of having English cottages 5)Safe with a guarded gate exclusive for guests 6)Warm and friendly reception and porters. Offered us a welcome drink and personally showed us to our rooms.Hospitality at its best. 7)Onsite restaurant with a good selection

We were the only family at this restaurant, very over priced and waited over 35 minutes for toasted sandwiches, the chicken salad, was the most awful meal, I have ever had. Dried up pieces of chicken, a massive lettuce in the middle and dried white bread ( croutons) bacon was bacon bits, more like crumbs. Don’t order toasted chicken, my daughter only got mayonnaise and cucumber/red onions. Beautiful setting, a pity about the food and the drinks are very overpriced. The waitress was lovely however we won’t be back thanks.

Broken aircon and it was 40degrees! The shower collects water ,it doesn’t drain Thato at the restaurant undermines trainees and embarrasses them! She second guesses them and shows the customers! We were rushed 2 hours before closing to grab our food! I had high hopes

Great experience after a long day in Kruger Park. We had a chalet with river view...outstanding! Clean! Comfortable. Reception by staff on arrival excellent. Dinner good quality food and service. Breakfast outstanding. Cherry on top was sightings of hippo and elephants from the eating area Lastly good security ensures a peaceful visit to a smart venhe

Hippo Hollow is a restaurant in a hotel complex in a wonderful setting backing into the Sabie River. As the name suggests, there is a food chance of seeing hippos - and we did. We saw a large solo hippo and then a mother/baby. As for the food it was nice enough without being exceptional and the service was very good. I would definitely recommend eating here
