POV: “If you visit Kashmir, your days could look like this…” 🏔️✨
Wake up to the crisp morning breeze beside Dal Lake in Srinagar. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains reflected in the calm water, it feels like stepping into a dream. Spend a night on a traditional houseboat, and don’t miss a peaceful Shikara ride across the lake.
Next, head to Gulmarg. In winter, it’s covered in a blanket of snow, while in summer, the hills turn lush green. Ride one of the world’s highest Gondola cable cars and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Gulmarg is also famous for skiing, snowboarding, and snow biking.
Then, explore Pahalgam, where the crystal-clear Lidder River flows through beautiful valleys lined with pine trees. Take a horse ride, enjoy a peaceful walk by the river, and visit the stunning Betaab Valley and Aru Valley.
Your next stop is Sonamarg, meaning “The Meadow of Gold.” Surrounded by majestic mountains, glaciers, and green meadows, it’s one of Kashmir’s most scenic destinations. From here, you can visit the famous Thajiwas Glacier, where snow can often be seen even during summer.
Must-visit places in Kashmir:
🌊 Dal Lake – Shikara rides, houseboats, and the floating market.
❄️ Gulmarg – Gondola rides, skiing, and snow-covered mountains.
🌲 Pahalgam – Lidder River, Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley.
🏔️ Sonamarg – Thajiwas Glacier and trekking trails.
🌷 Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden – Asia’s largest tulip garden (best visited in March–April).
🌺 Mughal Gardens – Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, famous for their historic Mughal architecture.
⛰️ Aru Valley & Betaab Valley – Picture-perfect landscapes surrounded by nature.
🍛 And don’t leave Kashmir without trying the famous Kashmiri Wazwan, Kahwa tea, and other delicious local dishes.
Best time to visit Kashmir:
🌷 March–May: Blooming flowers and lush green landscapes.
☀️ June–August: Pleasant weather, perfect for sightseeing.
❄️ December–February: Ideal for snowfall and winter sports.
Kashmir isn’t just a destination—it’s an experience you’ll never forget. ❤️
