The Peak Phu Quoc: a hilltop sunset stop above Duong Dong

The Peak Phu Quoc is not just a café above Duong Dong. It sits at more than 700 metres above sea level, and the whole place feels more like a sunset destination with installations and photo spots than a simple stop for drinks. There is the huge entrance piece with the two faces, Love Bridge, Heaven Gate, Eden Pool, terraces, gardens, and the large Timeless Kiss / Couple Statue area, so before you even sit down, it already feels like a place to walk through and explore. We came by taxi, the road was completely fine, and that big two-face installation at the entrance already gave the place a real wow factor. On the right side near the entrance, there was a guard where we bought the ticket. When I visited, the entry fee was 150,000 VND, and I think that only makes sense if you treat The Peak as more than a café. We arrived a little before sunset, walked around the whole area first, and then sat down with our laptops for a while. There was Wi-Fi and power, so it was comfortable enough to work a bit before just enjoying the view and the changing light. Another thing worth knowing is that it is not only about coffee or cocktails. The Peak has both a bar and a proper restaurant, so it works much better as a longer stop. You can come for the walk, stay for sunset, and then keep the evening going with drinks or dinner instead of rushing back down. They also have more special setups like the Hobbit Room and Love Bridge Table, which makes the whole place feel more like a full hillside venue than one terrace café. For me, the real value here is not just the menu. It is the whole sequence: arrive before sunset, walk the grounds, see the installations, pick your favorite terrace, and stay for the shift from daylight to sunset to evening lights.
