Best hotel in this trip! Lots of parking space, spacious room and very nice restaurants. We had beef dinner there, my son was enjoyed every minute and said it was his best experience of food. Onsen is nice but no free ice cream , which a little big down part, but totally alright. 5 minutes away is a local museum and bug museum, if you are there, worth a couple hours there.

Perfect for self drive travellers.
One of the best value hotel at Takayama.
Hot spring at 7 floor and 5 floor almost perfect.
Buffet breakfast have many choices.
Will definitely come back again while visit Nagoya again .

The hotel is located a bit outside of the city, but there is a free shuttle bus to the train station every hour.
AC/heating cannot be operated in the room as it is operated centrally. Could be bothersome for some people, it didn't bother us. The room was spacious and okay, it's a 80s's style hotel. But we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was nice and there were plenty of options of Western and Asian dishes.
Important : the onsen and spa area can only be used by persons without tattoos!! We didn't know as we checked the website and everything prior to our stay and didn't see any information. We only found out when we received information at check in... Check in was easy, we could even check in at 1:45pm.

Great 2nd stay. Very clean and big indoor and outdoor osen. Nice Mountain View and thankful to the hotel for giving me the highest floor on both stay. Shuttle departs from hotel/Takayama train station hourly. Driver is very polite and on time. Delicious food and drinks at the lounge at level one. Good for family and other travellers who like nature spacious rooms.

good hotel. room size is big. hv large carpark space. at the mean time，every hour have shuttle bus to drive u at nearest train station，very convenient to shop at old town.
