Kangding Yundu Paradise Hotel (Xinduqiao Branch)

We made the arduous journey to Western Sichuan for its stunning landscapes. Highland weather is notoriously unpredictable, offering a taste of all four seasons in a single day. Upon reaching Xinduqiao in the evening, we were caught in a heavy downpour and hail. The hotel's location right off the national highway, coupled with its spacious parking courtyard, was incredibly convenient. Our room was clean, tidy, and well-appointed, with excellent hot water – a welcome warmth amidst the strong winds and heavy rain outside. While breakfast wasn't particularly varied, it was satisfying and included congee, soy milk, several kinds of steamed buns, eggs, fried rice, fried noodles, and vegetables.

We were just passing through Xinduqiao and picked this hotel somewhat on a whim after seeing some reviews. It's conveniently located right on the main road in Xinduqiao town. The setting is decent, it was clean, and the facilities were pretty good. Our room even had an oxygen concentrator, but we didn't need it as we haven't had any issues with altitude sickness on this trip. Being on the road-facing side, there was some traffic noise at night, but overall, it was still okay. The breakfast was hearty enough.

I was here for a last-minute business trip and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The place was fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly kind, even reminding us to get some rest. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

The surroundings were decent. No welcome snacks were provided. It was stifling hot at night; I couldn't sleep at all. Turns out the heater was broken, and all they could do was give me a fan. I'd say it was just average, and it was also very noisy outside. I wouldn't particularly recommend it.

Xinduqiao Cloud Paradise Hotel is fantastic! The room was spotless, and they thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers, disinfectant wipes, and disposable face towels. The floors were so clean you could walk barefoot, and the fresh sheets ensured a truly comfortable stay. Service was also excellent; the staff were incredibly responsive and always ready to help. The breakfast was substantial and satisfying, featuring thick congee, hot steamed buns, eggs, and refreshing pickled vegetables. It was the perfect meal to fuel up before exploring Xinduqiao!

Cleanliness: Spotless. Facilities: Excellent. Location: Super convenient, just a 3-4 minute walk from the town center. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, offering many useful tips and reminders. Overall: Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
