Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

It's a great deal when the price is low. I had to queue for a long time to check in, probably about 40-50 minutes, even though it was already past 4 PM. The room facilities are a bit old, but the space is quite large and the location is very convenient. Plus, you can even see flamingos, haha!

It was pretty good; I booked it for a friend who was traveling with me. Surprisingly, when checking in via the self-service machine, they got a room on the 21st floor with a view! You could see the 'Big Ball' (Sphere?), the Ferris wheel, and the flamingo park, though it wasn't directly facing them. Honestly, I think the slightly off-center view was actually better. The line at the front desk was incredibly long during check-in, so the self-service machine was definitely a lifesaver. The parking garage entrance is pretty easy to miss – we actually circled around once. Also, you can only use valet parking right at the hotel entrance; they absolutely won't let you stop for self-parking, not even for a quick drop-off or to grab luggage. I guess it's all about business, which I understand.

The hotel is located on a main avenue and features its own flamingo park, which is a unique touch. There are many rooms, and you can self-check-in. Despite the lively location, the room rates are quite affordable, placing it in the category of a mid-tier hotel. Consequently, don't expect grand shows, though there is a small 'X' show. As is common in the US, rooms aren't cleaned if you don't tip, but that's standard. The extra-large pool, however, is a definite plus.

We were so lucky to get a room with a view of the Big Ball, which made us incredibly happy! The hotel's location on the main street is super convenient, really close to Caesar's Palace, and everything is within walking distance for a nice stroll around.
