Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier la Citadelle

We kicked off our trip to Morocco at this hotel. The valet parking was super convenient, the breakfast was amazing, and the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. As for the rooms, they were clean and had a wonderful view. The staff was very friendly.

The room size was decent. The twin beds were a bit small, probably less than a meter wide, but the bedding was good and very comfortable to sleep in. The hotel is at most 3 kilometers from the Hassan II Mosque. Taxis right outside the hotel quoted 50 DH, but we got an Uber for only 15 DH. After a week of traveling in Morocco, I found taking taxis to be the most frustrating part; you always have to haggle, and they often refuse fares. It's so much better now that Casablanca has Uber.

Excellent hotel. Clean, very convenient location, and breakfast was beyond amazing. There's a park nearby, and the best neighborhoods in the city are within walking distance.

Huge thanks to the hotel for their hospitality! For our anniversary, they decorated our room with flowers, gave us a bouquet, and even treated us to some sweets.

Top location

The hotel has an excellent location, right next to a park and a magnificent cathedral. The interior design is stylish and tastefully done, with great attention to detail. I highly recommend opting for the multi-meal plan – the food quality is excellent, you won't regret it. Overall, it's a great place for a layover. The rooms were a bit damp and had a slight unpleasant smell, but the pros significantly outweigh these minor cons.
