We arrived late and tired after a 4 hour drive and climbing Mt Taranaki. We must have looked a right state! Really appreciated the staff letting us leave the car on the driveway so we could get a shower and go to bed to catch our early morning ferry over the the South Island straight away! The check out next morning was quick and they had our car ready to leave us. A warm shower and comfy bed has never been more welcome!

The location is great and very convenient to visit all the nearby sites. Customer service and front desk people were warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and has all the amenities that you will need. The breakfast was excellent and there was a range of options you could choose from. It a great place to stay when you’re in Wellington.

The place is old and run-down, the breakfast is terrible, and the transportation is inconvenient, but the white guy there has a very warm smile. There are also quite a few restaurants nearby (expensive and bad). It's quite far from the supermarket. An extra bed costs NZ$80 per night, so four nights would cost NZ$320.

The breakfast is good. The bread, fruit and juice are all great. The room is more business-like. There is a slope at the entrance, but the view is good. The bakery around in the early morning is very high-end for office workers.
