Bambu Indah, A Hardy Artisanal Hotel

A very unique experience, with a completely natural environment. Given the setting, the hygiene was surprisingly good, though understandably there were quite a few mosquitoes. You need to remember to keep the door closed whenever you enter or leave the room. Taking a taxi from Seminyak here cost only 60 RMB using an app, and the ride was about an hour. Whether it's enjoying a drink at the sunset bar or having dinner at the restaurant, the evenings are very relaxing. Because of the secluded location, you have to eat at the hotel. The hotel food focuses on natural flavors; it's not exceptionally delicious, but it's good. Overall, this unique experience is quite worthwhile. There are also some paid activities, but when we went, it was peak season and everything was fully booked. Following the staff's recommendations, we booked whitewater rafting and ATV outside the hotel. A driver chauffeured us the whole time and dropped us off at our hotel near Ubud Palace. Later, comparing prices on Trip.com, it turned out to be cheaper to book ourselves, but the local service was still very good.

It feels like a hidden paradise, with excellent and prompt service. Those who appreciate the value of 'wild luxury' shouldn't miss it. The environment is very clean and well-maintained. The outdoor SPA with an outdoor sauna + hot pool + natural cold pool is very special and doesn't require extra payment. The staff are always smiling and actively providing service. There might be some small insects in the rooms, which is normal – if you choose this place, you've chosen nature!

Our one-night stay at the Bannida Treehouse was an unexpectedly delightful and truly restorative surprise on our trip. Tucked away amidst lush green mountains, the treehouse offers excellent privacy, far from the city's hustle and bustle, with a truly immersive natural atmosphere. The interior was clean and tidy, with meticulous attention to hygiene details, and the facilities were comprehensive and well-equipped. The owner's service was thoughtful and attentive, and they were warm and kind. The overall ambiance was serene and peaceful, with birdsong greeting us in the morning and greenery everywhere. It's perfectly suited for couples looking to relax and unwind, to embrace nature in an immersive way. It's a unique experience completely different from city hotels, offering outstanding value for money. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation. The only minor downside was a fair number of insects.

I booked a 'mountain view' room, but there was absolutely no view. The hotel felt more like a rural guesthouse. If you don't mind small bugs, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and tiny spiders, and are okay with staying in an old, cramped room where you can't even open your suitcase, and using an outdoor-style restroom where unknown insects might appear – and you're willing to swat mosquitoes while doing your business – then if you're looking for an authentic, rustic outdoor experience, this might be for you! They only allow one free photo from their photo service; additional photos come with extra charges and tax. As someone from the countryside myself, I found the value for money to be completely off. Perhaps it's more suitable for families with very young children.

A stunning, hidden gem of a hotel, truly a pleasant surprise. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Given its wilderness location, you can't expect sterile conditions, so if you're particular about cleanliness, you might want to bring your own bed linen. We stayed in the Moon room type; if you're a light sleeper, remember to bring earplugs as the river can be quite loud at night. The staff were very enthusiastic and attentive. I really loved this hotel.

This is one of the most stunning hotels I've ever stayed in. It really brought me back to nature, and the restaurant was absolutely beautiful too.

Stayed at Kuning. It's a tiny house, but exceptionally charming and cute.
