Bambu Indah, A Hardy Artisanal Hotel

Absolutely stunning. While the facilities may not be as luxurious as some modern hotels, the environment, concept, and design are superb. Every detail and surprise is delightful. I travel frequently and stay in countless hotels, so I'm often too lazy to write reviews. But I really want to recommend this hotel. I love it!

It's a very special resort. The place is so big, with forests, fields, caves, rivers, tree houses, and old houses. It's more fun than the parks or attractions outside, and the price is not expensive after the discount. This time I booked Kuno house, which translates to old wooden house. I heard that the owner found an old house and relocated it to rebuild it. Although it looks old, it has a lot of flavor and is very comfortable. It's also close to the hotel lobby and restaurant. But if I book next time, I will definitely choose the tree house or New moon house, which are so special. I had breakfast and dinner at the resort, both tasted great, and the room service was also very good. If there is any shortcoming, it is the 45-minute massage that was given, which was very average and the attitude was not good. I wanted to get out of bed halfway through the massage. In addition, activities such as yoga and exploring the resort are charged. But for such a special ecological environment and special ecological design, it is still worth experiencing. Before booking, I read the reviews of Bambu Indah and they were polarized, but I want to say that so far, it will be my top 3 favorite hotels in the world. I like its concept of being completely environmentally friendly, and I really enjoy its positioning as a hotel close to nature. Nature and environmental protection are definitely not gimmicks. This time, for a more complete experience, we stayed in three of the most popular room types in Bambu Indah. Tree house, Moon House, Guadua house. I want to talk about my feelings about these three room types based on my experience. 1. The favorite is Tree house, which is a room type that must be experienced in this hotel. Living in it, you will feel that your childhood dream has come true, living in a tree, a room like in the movie Avatar. There are no doors or windows, but the natural barrier gives you peace deep in your heart. 2. Moon House ranks second, very close to the river. If you can accept the white noise of the natural river to fall asleep, Tree House is "on the tree" overlooking the forest, while Moon House is "really" living in the woods. The high-end detailed room design is not abrupt in the primitive environment, and you can bask in the sun all day on the hammock in the room. 3. Guadua House, the first room type we stayed in. It was very exciting because it was the first experience, but after staying in Tree House and Moon House, I didn't feel anything about this room type. We were worried about mosquitoes, snakes and other small animals before we stayed. To be honest, the problem of mosquitoes is difficult to avoid in such a deep forest, but the hotel has done a good job of insect repellent. We were in the forest in the rainy season and were not too disturbed by the mosquito problem, because to have such an experience, some small sacrifices must be made. The service staff of the entire hotel are very good, and there is also a strong privacy between the guest rooms. In short, I love this hotel and I will definitely come back!
