The room was clean and well presented . Check in was made more difficult as the screen did not work for both ourselves and others which meant waiting for a receptionist to man the desk. She was polite and efficient. The breakfast was good. Parking was limited and we paid for parking on a nearby street . This turned out to be cheeped than the multi story car park even when the discount was applied Overall we were pleased with our two night stay in St Albans. This was the fourth forth hotel we stayed at and was certainly the best of the bunch

Brilliant service from the staff from when I entered. Extremely quick to respond when I locked myself out. Very clean and comfortable room. Great amenities.

The first room I had smelled of **** but the chap on reception was very helpful and changed my room immediately I complained. The restaurant was chaos and the food took so long to arrive. The one saving factor was Nahal who was behind the bar, checking in visitors on reception and bringing the food out. She was so busy and rescued the kitchen massively and was the one chasing the kitchen for customer meals. Without her I would have asked for my money back (meal deal) and gone somewhere else. One person running reception, bar and being a KP is madness. Thank goodness for Nahal

Very underwhelming stay. Hotel is tired and lacking in any kind of atmosphere. The bathroom basin taps in ALL premier inns are terrible, spraying in every direction. A quick wash of your hands will mean you have to wait 10 minutes for your pants to dry before you can leave.
