The location is perfect and the view is amazing. Room was quiet small and the bathroom not very nice .

I had a previous stay at this hotel in December 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I stayed in room 2302 for 4 nights in a premium room, which included breakfast. I thought my view last time was stunning, but this was even better. The room was kept spotlessly clean during my stay and came with the usual amenities such as a kettle, coffee maker, iron, robe & slippers, digital safe and there were sufficient power points. Considering the numerous floors in this hotel, I didn’t have to wait too long for the lift to arrive. I wasn’t able to book a room only option so I had breakfast for 3 of the 4 days. I couldn’t face getting up early on my last day to avoid the breakfast rush. There was sufficient choice of food for most palates, and plenty of it. The hotel is easily reached by taking the airport bus C6 and getting off at Puerta del Mar. I didn’t realise on my previous trip that there are numerous supermarkets nearby where you can buy water and snacks for a fraction of the minibar prices. You are also very close to Mercado tram station where you can get a return trip to Benidorm for less than €5. I really like this hotel and think it offers great value for money especially if you book in advance or have the Melia app or take advantage of Black Friday deals. It may not be the prettiest looking hotel in Alicante but once inside, it’s lovely. The reception staff were also very nice on arrival and departure.

Chose hotel for position as it is perfect to wander along the attractive esplanade, round the marina, old town, beach and castle. Loads of places to eat, bars and coffee shops. We paid a little more for a premier room with sea and city views, wow it was worth it! The view was spectacular of the castle, sea and marina. The weather was warm enough to sit out on the balcony and take it all in. The beds were firm but comfortable and there was a comfy sofa to relax with a cup of tea, kettle provided, after some exploring. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of cooked and cold options, the pastries were delicious and definitely fresh each day. We were really pleased we chose this hotel and this room. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit to castle, though only walls, more great views and an easy walk along front to the lift that does take you right to the top!

VERY BAD Pure fraud!! Nothing is like as the pictures from the website Worst experience in my Hotel Life Old place,smells like a horse stable….paid 300€ for night and expected nice and clean place ……On the website looks like prestige Hotel but is totally opposite
