They hotel was closed when we arrived. E neighbor called him, and then the owner said that they didn’t confirm the booking, but in trip.com was already confirmed. They do not answer any of phones or email or chats. I had to see other hotels nearby with 2 kids and a bunch of baggage. If I could I would put 0 stars And they did not return the money from the booking, even if they said that the didn’t confirm the booking

We couldn't have asked for a better stay than our time at Phuong Dong Hotel on Cat Ba Island. The room was immaculate and provided, everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the island, and the staff were always on hand to offer assistance and recommendations. We particularly enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurent, where we savored delicous meals at affordable prices. Our experience at Phuong Dong Hotel was truly outstanding.

Phuong Dong Hotel truly made our trip to Cat Ba Island unforgettable. The room was impeccably clean and provided all the comforts of home, while the central location allowed us to easily explore the island's attractions. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, where we were treated to delicious meals at reasonable prices. Overall, our experience at Phuong Dong Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cat Ba Island.

This small, family run hotel is well situated for exploring Cat Ba town on foot. The room was spacious but basic. The AC and fans worked well cooling the room. Rooms at the front are noisy from the Main Street. My room at the back was quieter with only noise coming from the kids in the school next door. Chang and her family were really helpful and were able to rent me a moped - highly recommended for exploring the island and National Park areas. There are lots of shops & restaurants nearby the hotel and the main seafront is an easy 5 minute walk down the hill. The included breakfast was simple and prepared when required, consisting of fried eggs, toasted roll and salad. There are so many restaurants offering cheap breakfasts nearby that I explored a variety of these. Overall, it’s basic but good value, friendly and in a great location.

Fint stort værelse. Flink og hjælpsom i receptionen. Fint morgenmad. Kunne tjekke ind tidligt om morgenen uden besvær. Det eneste minus er de alt alt for hårde senge, ikke til at sove i.
