宮宴大廳一次坐得下160人，像把整個春秋戰國的宮廷場景搬來，燈火映著漢服華彩，開場那一瞬我就覺得自己變成諸侯了。 今晚的「隆冬宴」主題是「春秋戰國」，每上一個盤子，就換一國的背景投影——齊魯山河、趙魏雄壯、燕趙悲壯、楚國荊棘，全場燈光一暗一明，像在陪你重讀歷史書。 

先換漢服：兩百多套裡我挑了件湖藍魯國廣袖，妝司阿姐幫我描眉、插簪、遞一把羽扇，瞬間氣質+10，用餐都像在演大禮。 涼菜三道： ‧ 燕國「玉露蝦仁」晶瑩如凍； ‧ 齊國「松花蛋捲」咬一口蛋香四溢； ‧ 魏國「玫瑰糟蟹」酒香直鑽鼻孔。 點心四款： ‧ 魯國「九蒸九晒糕」入口即化； ‧ 趙國「蜜棗酥」甜得剛好； ‧ 秦國「酥皮餛飩」脆到掉渣； ‧ 楚國「桂花藕片」脆甜交織。 主菜五重殺： ‧ 《大漠風沙蝦球》——鮮蝦仁裹金黃碎米渣，一咬「喀嚓」脆響，內裡彈牙，配上投影飛沙走石的動畫，簡直身歷其境； ‧ 《酸湯煮寧夏灘羊》——羊肉燉得軟爛，酸湯勾出西北風味，投影裡駝鈴聲叮噹，像真吃上一碗沙漠夜裡的熱湯； ‧ 《齊魯紅燒魚》用東海黃魚，湯汁濃得筷子能站； ‧ 《趙魏刀削麵》現場手切，拉出來三米長； ‧ 《楚國桂花雞》整隻雞淋桂花蜜，香得鄰桌直吸鼻子。 主食一碗「秦俑米飯」——蒸得粒粒分明，埋進筷子就冒熱氣。 飲品是「燕趙溫酒」──陳釀三年的桂花白，暖胃又暖心。 最後甜品：一顆「魏國壽桃包」粉嫩嫩的外皮，掰開是熱騰騰的流心豆沙，甜得讓人想把整個冬天都吞進去。 吃完散席，扇子一合，漢服一甩，燈火又回2025。 可我低頭看指尖，還有半點螢光粉——那是蝦球上的金砂沒擦乾淨。 那一刻忽然明白，宮宴真正的魔力不是菜，而是讓你一邊嚼著脆皮，一邊聽諸侯在耳邊說：「來，再陪孤喝一杯。」

Absolutely love the food in Gong Yan in China, especially the intricate and wonderful presentation of the food items. The meat was flavourful, having being braised with soy sauce and others. Soup was heartwarming and heavenly with natural taste that was brewed for hours. Absolutely loved these food and the experience and will want to return to China and eat the food again!

我選擇了午宴（比晚宴便宜）我們有預約換裝＋髮飾（100元）建議開宴前2小時抵達。
我是一個月前在微信宮宴小程式預約的，準點也只搶到了第四排～😭不過相信我，第四排的體驗感也超好。建議預約時，跟工作人員溝通一下飲食特別安排（如有）比如說我家人不吃牛肉還有！小提示：如果有同行者當天生日或生日期間，他們都有特別的生日驚喜哦。
一抵達，工作人員會把訂金退回，然後就需要全額支付了（第一排598元、第二排498元、第三和四排
398元一位）之後就可以進入宴會廳喝茶邊等待換裝。工作人員超好的有幫忙換裝也很俐落地的完成髮飾。建議自行化點淡妝，就可以省點錢，之後就可以美美的去拍照打卡啦。 12點10分準時開宴，食物真的好吃，從食物到表演，我們每個人都超享受的。

I caught a reel on my Fb feed about Gong Yan 宫晏 fine dining in Shanghai and I knew I had to come here. It was a lovely dinner where you'd dress in costumes and be transported back to the Tang Dynasty imperial court. 

Food is tasty, flavourful and everything was really perfect. However, tickets have to be purchased a month earlier on WeChat (or other China app). Can find out more details on TikTok shared by others. Be sure to add this to your itinerary!

Gong Yan Shanghai: A Unique Culinary Experience

The Gongyan experience is one not to miss! I had an amazing time and they even have English subtitles on the middle pillar for you to follow the story. Definitely one of my top 5 highlights during my month in mainland China!

Gongyan in Shanghai was such a fun and unique dinner experience. You get to dress up in beautiful Hanfu (they also do your hair and makeup), and the whole place feels like you’ve stepped into an ancient palace. The full-course meal was delicious. 

What made it really special was the atmosphere. There were multiple performances throughout the meal — dancing, live music, and even the way dishes were served felt like part of the show. It wasn’t just a dinner, it was a whole experience.

Just make sure to book in advance through their WeChat mini program (search “宫宴 Gongyan”) — spots fill up fast. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Shanghai!#shanghaitravel #shanghaifoodie

「宮宴」這頓飯我真的是大推特推！cp值蠻高的，來上海一定要來體驗一次。
「宮宴」不僅僅是一間餐廳，更是一場味蕾的盛宴和文化的體驗。它由北京烹飪協會副會長，並且是御膳製作技藝第五代傳人行斌先生創辦。宮宴致力於傳承古代宮廷菜，選料嚴格、烹飪精細，推出傳統不守舊、創新不忘本的“新宮廷菜”。

這個上海宮宴，就像返回古代一樣，可以身穿古代的服裝還可以幫你戴上古時代飾物，就像躋身於古代一樣，太入營入格了。還有很多美食款款也有特色很好吃，還有唱歌和跳舞表演，實在目不暇給。下一次還會再去再看他們的表演。 

Gong Yan came highly recommended when I told a friend I was going to Shanghai. It was supposed to be set in imperial China (the current theme is Song Dynasty) and one is meant to dine like a palace noble. Coming in at about RMB 400 per person (lunch), it was a pretty good 10-course meal. We were seated and served high grade Da Hong Pao tea, 3 Deg Plum Wine, various pastries and side dishes first. When the show started, we were presented with the most delicious Jin Hua Ham tofu soup. The other dishes that followed were nice, but they seem to get culinarily lazier as the course goes. The meal ended with a clear noodle soup (very plain), and an osmanthus flavoured yogurt which I honestly do not think its very imperial China at all...? My mother-in-law who is lactose intolerant was given some cut fruits. Despite my criticism though, the food was still all in all high quality and worth eating for the price point. 


My main gripe with the experience though was my confusion with what I need to do at each point in time.... The intersperse of show and service left one with very little time to appreciate the food. When I find myself trying to watch the dance and understand the show, my food gets neglected and the next course is ready to be served. When I switched my focus to savour every morsel of food, I find myself dining in the dark (they off the lights for show effect) and thereby losing the visual appreciation of both my lunch and the performance - which I think is a little disrespectful too. What is one supposed to do when dining in the palace??? In the midst of my confusion, the 12:10 lunch seating very quickly become 2pm and I felt like I had been rushed through a meal, ready to resume my imperial court duties. I will sentence the director of this meal to experience this pandemonium for himself... T_T


Perhaps that's just me. Seated in the middle of our group of 5, my experience was likely a moderation of my entire family. The mother-in-law on the extreme right had the best view of the show. She thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. She also appreciates the accommodation to her dietary requirements (she also does not eat beef and they switched out her beef dish with chicken). All in all she gives this meal a 5-star rating because Shanghai was otherwise as exciting as memorizing the periodic table. My sister-in-law on the extreme left and also the last seat of the row had a whole other experience. She did not understand much about the performance and was fervently trying to keep herself awake during the meal. Doesn't help that her view of the performance was largely obstructed by a mega pillar. For this, we do not recommend sitting in seat North 11-11. As a foodie, she keenly awaits each performance to be over so that she gets more food though! After the meal, she continues to sing praises about the beef dish.

喜歡 Cos 換裝的可以早一些前去，化妝拍攝什麼的還是需要一些時間的，避免影響後邊用餐和表演的觀賞。舞美光影還是不錯的，不僅在背屏和舞台上有燈光，在餐桌上，每個人的盤子上也會有一些和餐食、故事相關的投影呈現在盤子上，用餐和觀賞的時候可要注意這些細節咯！[Awesome]

餐食會隨著故事分幾個批次上，口味還算清淡，沒有太過驚艷的餐食，主要還是吃個氛圍和沉浸式的體驗感，服務的宮女都是帶著面紗的，感覺人手有些緊缺，當上餐食時我們想讓她們放慢動作拍點照片和視頻（因為光線也比較暗，動作快了容易虛化），一般她們都會禮貌地告知還要急著上別桌的或後續的餐品，要匆匆離去，缺少了一些服務過程中美感的停留和互動，這點有點小可惜。

環境上比較討厭的是圍繞著舞台的幾個立柱，會對一些顧客的餐桌遮擋得厲害，顧客離開餐桌拍攝或觀賞又會影響其他顧客或服務人員，所以勢必逼著大家要早點去，選擇無遮擋的座席，PS：第一排好像是要 VIP 預約還是要加錢來著的，so 你懂的[Smart]

去得早的寶子們還可以到門口的院子裡拍攝，取景效果也不錯，庭院裡的幾個包廂貌似是可以有一些單獨表演的[StarEyes]
