Beijing Broadcasting Tower Hotel

I stayed for several nights in Beijing. The room was spacious enough, with a view of Chang'an Avenue from the window. Dining options nearby were very convenient, and there was also a self-service laundry room. The hotel is located near the embassy district, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area.

The room was clean and quiet, and it was super convenient to find food nearby. There's a Lawson and a Luckin Coffee right downstairs. Plus, the delivery robot brings takeout directly to your room, which is a huge plus! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay.

Everything was perfect, except for the slightly small lobby and the slightly outdated room facilities. The decor felt very cozy and inviting. There were even stamps in the lobby for 'checking in' (like a souvenir or a fun activity). Breakfast is served on the 10th floor. For lunch, it's open to the public as a cafeteria, offering great value, and they even have a Peking duck set meal. I would definitely stay here again if I return.

Traveling with elderly family members this time, we opted for a quiet environment. The rooms are quite spacious for Beijing standards, and the location is fairly convenient. However, the room facilities are a bit old, and the bathroom had a strong musty smell. We booked two rooms, and one was upgraded to a suite. The hotel is generally quiet, suitable for those who prefer peace and quiet. The subway station is a bit far, but it's close to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City.

Very good, the cleaning staff did a thorough job, and they promptly refilled the water when it ran out.

When I booked, it said the hotel was renovated in 2020, but upon entering the room, there was a strong smell, even with the door open and the fresh air system on. There were also several pots of green plants, so maybe the hotel staff knew about the odor and were trying to mitigate it. Good thing I only stayed one night; otherwise, the smell would have been unbearable. The location is excellent, surrounded by embassies, various trendy cafes and restaurants, and Ritan Park. It's a great stopover between Beijing South Station and Beijing Chaoyang Station. Staying at the Broadcasting Tower Hotel also felt very secure. I hope the smell dissipates soon; I'd definitely choose to stay here again for future transfers in Beijing.

Good. We stayed for 6 consecutive days. It's a Chinese-style hotel, and although the room decor is a bit dated, it's still very well-maintained. Everything was great except for the carpet, which was noticeably dirty. The hotel facilities are quite good, and they were very generous with the complimentary bottled water in the room, which was a thoughtful touch. The self-service laundry room is a real convenience for guests staying for multiple days. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful; the male front desk staff member was clearly more professional than the female. There are plenty of dining options nearby, as the hotel is close to office buildings and residential areas. The only downside is that it's about 1 kilometer from the subway station.

Breakfast: 68 RMB is not worth it for a four-star standard, as there are too few dishes. Facilities: The lighting layout lacks design, making the whole room very dim. Hygiene: Clean. Ambiance: The bedroom is too simple… like a three-star room… The bathroom, however, feels more like a four-star thanks to the bathtub. Service: Average.
