CitizenM hotel is a very convenient hotel. The location is very close to Alor Street, within walking distance. Plus, there's free parking 🅿️ which is really great, no need to search for parking nearby. The only downside is that the room type is indeed quite small, but it's very clean. The soundproofing isn't great, and the bathroom is tiny because of the small room size. Overall, it's pretty good, but the main drawback is that the view from our room type was really bad. The opposite building looked scary and dirty; I opened the curtains once and didn't dare to open them a second time. It's a bit of a shame that it's different from the views others posted 🥲. However, the staff here are also very friendly and polite. There are many food options, and they're quite tasty. I really loved the curry noodles, they were very fragrant.

This hotel stands out from traditional ones because you control the AC, lights, and curtains with a tablet. It's quite unique, though it takes a little getting used to and some exploring to figure out how to use the tablet. The location is great; you can walk to the area around Merdeka Square, and it's not far from the subway station. There's also a 7-Eleven and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff spoke English that I could understand, and their service was excellent. The lobby on the first floor has a dining area and spaces where you can sit and relax or work. There's no kettle in the room, but you can get hot water from the first floor. Mineral water, toothpaste, and toothbrushes are provided in the room. The bed is large, and there's enough other space, so even with a big suitcase, it shouldn't be an issue. What I liked most is that smoking is prohibited in the rooms, so there was absolutely no smell of smoke. Housekeeping seemed to happen while guests were in their rooms; I was startled when someone knocked on my door around 7 PM. When I opened it, I saw two guys with a cleaning cart. I found it inconvenient, so I didn't let them clean then.
