Our stay at Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge in the beautiful Western Cape was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home thanks to the warm welcome and impeccable care provided by the team. Our room was fabulous—beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches that made it both stylish and comfortable. Returning from our daily horse riding adventures, we were always thrilled to cool off in the inviting swimming pool. It was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the serene riverside surroundings of this picturesque location. Each morning, Ezna greeted us with a warm smile and a wonderful breakfast spread lovingly prepared by the kitchen team. The selection was fantastic, with something to suit every taste, and the attention to detail made it feel extra special. The hospitality at Klein Waterval was truly exceptional. Every need was anticipated with care, from the spotless daily cleaning to fresh towels always on hand. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, and their genuine friendliness made our stay even more memorable. Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge is a haven of relaxation and comfort, perfectly located in the heart of the Western Cape’s stunning wine region. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Ezna and team, for making our stay so special!

As always its such a treat to return to this amazing place. This time, unusually, we went before Christmas. Lovely warm welcome, room 7 in the loft was fun. Pool amazing, advice and help wonderful and my favour breakfast in Cape Town. We are already planning to return. Looking forwards to seeing the family back together. Good luck for the season!

Very homely place to stay, very clean and located between Franshoek and Stellanbosch, and right in among all the wineries. Breakfasts are as much as you want with extremely friendly owners. Trevor is old school and keeps the place in top condition. Beds are big, water aplenty. This a great location for a group as the bar is an honestly box and beside the pool for socialising. Like a lot of these places you need to drive for dinner or you have to stay in Franshoek, which itself, is a beautiful town with great restaurants

We absolutely loved our stay at Klein Waterval Lodge! Accommodation is great, views over the wine yard is 10+, great facilities, delicious breakfast, but mostly we were amazed by the great hospitality of the Ezna and her team. We would definately recommend staying here!! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our few days at Klein Waterfall. For us this provided the perfect balance, a fabulous location with an easy reach of everything that Franschhoek has to offer but also a very peaceful sanctuary. We were wonderfully looked after by Ezna and Trevor and all their staff and made to feel very at home. There is a wonderfully stocked honesty bar, lots of cozy areas to sit in the evenings, a stack of interesting books and games provided. Rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Morning and evening views from the rooms and terraces are wonderful over the valley. A very clean and well kept pool area. Highly recommended.
