Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives

The resort was one of the best resorts i have stayed in maldives. From the airport pick up, to the greetings at the hotel, to the room interior to the resort exterior everything was beautiful and well prepared! I honestly will stay at this hotel again… the food was amazing and tasty! All the restaurants were top notch. I was surprised by the water activities that they had on the island , suitable for adults and children really really easy to book and obtained. We went on a dive with the water sports center i can not believe how powerful the sea cliff in that island. With well trained staff and well behaved. We delt with a host called Ashfaq he was professional and helped me prepare a beautiful birthday surprise for my family member. I really enjoyed staying there it looked and felt luxurious. Just what you look for for a family trip and wellness escape. The spa was really really beautiful as a place we stayed there for a good amount of time to relax and they did not disappoint 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Loved our stay at Centara Grand Lagoon 🤍🤍🤍🤍💯

The service was great

The service was friendly; for instance, dinner reservations and transportation on the island were handled seamlessly through our host, Hassan. The water villa was beautiful and clean, and it offered a stunning view of the sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the resort.

Our stay was amazing! The hotel was so beautiful everyone was so very kind and helpful we had Inan with us to help us and he was amazing, so friendly and helpful and kind. The hotel had so many activities and the rooms were clean and tidy and the food was amazing the location is very perfect and the prices were good i would definitely come again!

Our wonderful experience at Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives began well before we arrived, with our very first contact with the reservations team. Silvi was a pleasure to deal with and helped us secure the right package for our family. She was warm, patient and helpful throughout the booking process. Later in the week, Gracy was equally fantastic at answering our questions. Both were informative and easy to reach through WhatsApp, with prompt responses that made planning our holiday feel effortless. The guidance they provided on immigration and where to meet for our transfer was also very helpful. The 40-minute boat journey to the island was fantastic. The boat felt luxurious and the ride was incredibly smooth. On arrival, we received a warm welcome and were introduced to Nasa, who became our first point of contact throughout our stay. Nasa deserves a heartfelt thank-you for her excellent service, attention to detail and care for our family. She arranged our restaurant reservations and was always ready to help with any questions or requests. She was especially wonderful with our daughter and went above and beyond throughout our stay. By the time we left, she felt like a family friend. Two of our favourite restaurants were Bluefin and The Gallery. The teams at both were kind, helpful and accommodating, particularly with our children’s food requests. A special thank-you goes to The Gallery team, who became like a second family because we ate there so often. They even prepared a special table for us on our final day—a thoughtful gesture that meant the world to us. Chef Sathish was particularly attentive to our children, often bringing over dishes he thought they would enjoy without us even asking. His crêpes are a must-try! The staff, hotel, rooms and cleanliness were all excellent. This is a wonderful family-friendly resort, and it was the kindness and personal touches from the team that made our holiday so memorable. Thank you to everyone, and especially to Nasa, for taking such good care of us and putting up with my "funny" dad jokes.

My husband and I just returned home from Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives. We had the most amazing time. From the moment we met our greeter in the airport to the moment we left the island, we were treated with such respect and courtesy. It sincerely felt like they wanted to make sure we had the best possible time on their island. We took a high speed boat from Male to the resort. It was the fanciest boat I’ve been on with leather reclining massage seats. Once on the island, Inan our host was extremely helpful with getting us acquainted to the island and our villa. One of the most helpful things he told us was that snorkeling was safe right from the villa. He also offered other great spots to snorkel. We snorkeled the island every day while there and saw many different fish, including small sharks, an eagle ray, and sea turtle. We enjoyed both pools and having drinks at sunset social in the afternoons. There were others who made an impression during our stay including Emmanuel at the pool bar, and Sethanil who made us the most delicious crepes every morning. Our over the water villa was much larger than expected, and we enjoyed the villa pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. We actually spent a lot of time there. The accommodations could not have been better. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was so friendly. They transported us by golf carts around the island when requested. In the hot, middle of the days, that was nice. I can’t recommend this resort enough. It is truly 5 star. I hope to go back again one day.
