Zubizuri
Zubizuri was completed in 1994 and designed by Calatrava. The parabolic arch stands 14.6m high and is formed from a curved steel pipe with a diameter of 75 cm, resulting in an exquisite design. The church was built in Santiago in the 17th century. It is dedicated to James, one of the 12 disciples of Christ. He was revered as the patron saint of the Christian country of Spain in the 18th century. It flourished due to the pilgrims. The side corridor is a pilgrimage route that can be walked around the church. The remains of James are placed in the underground altar.
