Huazhou Academy is located in the southeast of Dengzhou City. It was founded by the Northern Song Dynasty politician Fan Zhongyan when he was the governor of Dengzhou. The main buildings in the west, such as Chunfeng Hall, Wanjuan Pavilion, Fan Gong Temple, and Dacheng Hall, are simple and elegant, and magnificent. Fan Zhongyan wrote the famous "Yueyang Tower" here. Huazhou Academy has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, and the fragrance of books has continued. Talents have emerged in large numbers, including Jia An, the top scholar in the Song Dynasty, and the famous writers Yao Xueying and Er Yuehe. The east is the Jiangnan style Baihuazhou Garden, with pavilions, terraces, and terraces, scattered and orderly, small bridges and flowing water, and winding paths. Fan Zhongyan's poem says, "Nanyang has a unique place, Baihuazhou under the city"
