How to reach Donghuamen: You can reach this location by taxi. You can also take the subway: line 8 at Jingyu Hutong Station, exit C, then walk 700 meters along Donghuamen Street towards the west.
Please note:
1: We don't recommend reaching the meeting point via Tiananmen Square, because the security checks at the square can sometimes take a long time and delay your arrival at the meeting point. Please take a taxi or the subway directly to Donghua Gate.
2: In case of peak travel seasons and when all the tickets reserved online for the scenic area are sold out, tourists are required to go to the ticket office of the scenic area by themselves under the guidance of the tour guide to handle the purchase of paper tickets on-site, The travel agency will bear the resulting costs. (the remaining ticket situation shall be subject to the real-time publicity at the ticket window on that day). Please be informed.


Meet your guide and the group at Donghua Gate. The guide will explain the route of the 4-hour tour as well as the precautions. Then, you will head to the Meridian Gate together.
Once enter the Forbidden City, you'll walk along the central axis, the heart of the Forbidden City. You'll marvel at the grandeur of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Preserving Harmony, where emperors once held grand ceremonies. Our guide will share fascinating stories about imperial life, the symbolism behind the architecture, and the secrets of the Forbidden City's design.
Next, follow your tour guide to explore the living quarters, specifically the 1-2 courtyards located in the west wing. These spaces give you a glimpse into the daily lives of past emperors and their families, with beautifully preserved rooms and intricate decorations.


As you continue your tour, our guide will take you to wander through the imperial garden, a tranquil oasis where emperors once strolled amongst lush greenery and exquisite pavilions. After fully experiencing the grandeur of the Forbidden City, you'll then take a leisurely stroll to Jingshan Park with the guide. At Jingshan Park, the guide will explain to you about the most important central axis of Beijing. From here, you can have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Finally, we'll conclude this wonderful day of exploration at Jingshan Park.
