Reviews: Best of Athens in One Day: Acropolis, Acropolis Museum & City Tour
Guest User2024-09-15
Our guide, Demetrius, packed a mass of facts into a fascinating and entertaining few hours at the Acropolis and museum. We had the sense that there wasn't a question we could ask that he couldn't answer, with easy-to-absorb and surprising details. He's an archaeologist who actually worked on the site, and his dedication to its preservation was impressive. The experience couldn't have been as memorable and meaningful as it was for us without him. And you don't have to take selfies -- Demetrius is a great photographer.

The timing of the tour was well-planned, explanations were clear, description of meeting point was precise. Our tour guide was extremely helpful and informative. She helped us through the crowded areas of the museum and hill.
