Depart from your downtown hotel in the early morning and head to the first stop—the Ping An Finance Centre Cloud Top Observation Deck in Futian District. Take the high-speed elevator directly to the 116th floor, reaching the observation deck at an altitude of 547.6 meters in just 55 seconds. Here, enjoy a 360-degree unobstructed panoramic view of Shenzhen's cityscape: rows of skyscrapers, the winding Shenzhen River, and the distant mountain-sea scenery of Hong Kong. On clear days, the outlines of Wutong Mountain and Lingding Ocean are distinctly visible, offering a refreshing, cloud-walking experience.
Next, head to Nantou Ancient City in Nanshan District. This ancient city with nearly 1,700 years of history is the origin point of Shenzhen and is open to the public for free. Stepping into the ancient city, you'll find cobblestone paths winding through, flanked by weathered ancient walls, Lingnan-style "wok ear" houses, and historical relics like the Xin'an Opium Den and Dongguan Guild Hall. Sunlight filters through old banyan trees, casting dappled shadows, while rustic brick carvings and gate towers whisper tales of time. In the evening, head to Happy Harbor in Bao'an District and board the Bay Area Sky Wheel. Standing 128 meters tall, this "Bay Area Light" features fully transparent space capsule cabins, completing a full rotation in approximately 28 minutes. As the cabin gradually ascends, a magnificent panorama of Qianhai Bay unfolds beneath you: the setting sun paints the sea in golden-orange hues, the Yanjiang Expressway stretches like a dragon across the water in the distance, and the silhouette of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link faintly emerges.
