Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk + Zipline

The Illawarra Treetop is a one of Australia's most exciting rainforest treetop walks, strolling through the southern plateau of New South Wales. The entire project consists of a number of high-altitude steel frame walkways, a slightly swaying cantilever and a central spiral tower. At an altitude of nearly 50 meters above the ground, above the canopy of the rainforest, you can enjoy unparalleled views of the lake and the South Pacific. This 1.5km long leisurely two-way stroll begins on the rainforest floor, boarding a steel frame walkway, strolling between the canopies, and offering a unique view of the local wildlife.

Whizz across the forest floor on the Illawarra Fly Zipline and experience the forest at a height of 35 metres. Australia's highest zipline navigates through a maze of elevated cables and bridges that is a thrilling experience suitable for all guests aged 4 and above. Feel safe in the hands of our experienced guides as you get incredible views over the canopy and even glimpses of the Pacific Ocean.

• Environmental Protection Walkways

The Illawarra Treetop Walk is one of the few steel-framed tree-top walkways in the world and is unique in New South Wales. The walkway minimizes damage to natural forests during construction and has adopted a number of environmental protection measures such as rainwater and septic tank systems, garbage and cooking waste recycling systems, forest floor restoration plans, and rainforest education programs.
