Get ready for a fascinating two-and-a-half hours spent with your life-writing experience hosts, The Garage Girls, two professional story coaches, who are experts at helping our clients unleash the power of their personal mythology through writing.
First, you'll meet up with the Garage Girls at an easy to reach West LA location—and they'll drive you from there up the scenic coast along the Pacific Coast Highway. Sit back, relax and take in the ocean view along this iconic coastline, unencumbered by driving, navigating, or even finding parking. Leave it all to us. You'll begin this experience by getting to know your hosts and other guests, enjoying some fun ice-breaker exercises that will set the stage for an inspiring next two hours of soul connection and life writing at the beach.
Once you arrive, we'll take off our shoes, enjoy the calming salt air and set our intentions for this experience with a short meditation. We'll walk on the sand with the option to explore a private "Old Hollywood" beach to help you connect with yourself. You'll identify major events that have shaped who you are today, revealing the hidden structure of your life's journey, and also begin to re-imagine the possibilities for your next amazing chapter. After some contemplation, we'll lead you to some comfortable and shaded outdoor tables, pour you a glass of organic wine (or bottled water), and then, let the power of the ocean just before sunset as well as our thought-provoking innovative writing exercises: enhance calm and clarity, awaken core creativity, uncover blocks and saboteurs that may be holding you back, and explore your personal narrative in new and inspiring ways.
