Mr Ping picked us up at 6:45 so we could get to Mutianyu early. We arrived around 8:10. He ascertained which transport options we wanted (cable car up and down for us) and facilitated ticket purchases. We were on the wall a little after 8:30 with only a couple of people ahead of us. Basically had the wall to ourselves. Very nice. We would recommend this guide.

Mr.Ping from Leo's private tour helped me have a great experience in Beijing, China. The driver is very professional, he will arrange hours upon request to match your itinerary and pick you from your stay with car. He will take you to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and help you buy tickets, get you up there and take pictures for you. Then you are to experience the wall by yourself. He is outgoing and sincere, so the 2 hours long drive will be fun as well.

I did a solo tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Mr. Ping was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, and made the whole day completely stress-free. The drive was comfortable, he shared useful tips, and made sure I had plenty of time to explore without rushing. I felt safe, well looked after, and the experience was a highlight of my trip to China. Highly recommend Mr. Ping!

Choose a chairlift to Tower 6, spend about 3 hours on the wall, and toboggan down. Alternatively, take a cable car to Tower 14 and back down. For those wary of heights, opt for the cable car both ways; otherwise, chairlift up and toboggan down offer a thrilling option.
