wuzhangyuan(Gojogen)Zhuge Liang's final resting place.Gozhanghara, located about 20 kilometers south of the prefectural city in Qishan Prefecture, is on a hill overlooking the Wei River to the north.During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han, sent his army to Guanzhong in 234, and encamped from Shayuguan to Wuzhang Plain and on the south bank of the Wei River.This was the sixth Northern Expedition before and since then, but Sima Zhongda of Wei was encamped on the north bank, and Zhuge Liang died of illness in this area after more than 100 days of confrontation.Later, a shrine was built in honor of Zhuge Liang and was called Zhuge Liang Temple or Wuhou Temple.Inlaid on the wall of the dedication hall are stone tablets from the Qing Dynasty engraved with the "Table of Masters" (composed by Zhuge Liang), both of which were transcribed by Yue Fei (1103-41).
