Wow!! I cannot recommend this trip enough!! It was absolutely amazing, the perfect blend of guidance and information with enough freedom to explore and see things on your own. Dao was the best tour guide, I've ever had, anywhere. I did this tour with my wife and sister, but I will definitely be taking my parents and friends on this exact tour when they visit me. If you want to see the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China and you only have one full day in Beijing, then 1000000% book this trip. Thank you for this wonderful experience.★

The day trip with tour guide Wang Shuhui was absolutely worth it! Since it's winter, we visited the Summer Palace in the morning and the Great Wall in the afternoon. At the Summer Palace, Wang took us to see the Bronze Ox, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, the residences of emperors and empresses, the residence of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and the Long Corridor. We took many photos. It was very windy, but Wang was professional and enthusiastic. There weren't many people at the Great Wall in the afternoon, so we didn't have to queue. It was dark when we came down from the Great Wall, and we got off at the Bird's Nest to see the night view. Wang also took many group photos for us. This trip was a fantastic experience; I highly recommend it!★

Mina was fluent and detailed in her explanations of the summer palace. I was lucky as the only tour participant, She suggested meeting earlier in order to avoid the weekend crowds which proved to be a good idea. She also gave good historical context on how the palace and grounds were constructed and used and offered additional tips for exploring the grounds after our tour ended.
