If you visit on Sunday, you can also attend the Bodbiskhevi market here to buy fresh agricultural products and handicrafts and experience the unique local culture. St. Nino's Bodbe Monastery (Bodbe Monastery) is one of the important religious sites in Georgia. Buried under St. George Cathedral here are the remains of St. Nino, who, as the apostle of Christ, brought Christianity to Georgia. During her life she traveled across the country healing people and preaching Christianity. Originally, a chapel was built here in memory of the martyr Saint Nino. Chavchavaz used ancient European winemaking techniques to build an ancient Georgian winery. The Tsinandali dry white produced here is still highly sought after by the world. The landscape garden here is the first European-style leisure garden in Georgia, and was designed by landscape architect Alexander Chavchavadze. The gardens are famous for their unusual plants and layout. There is a "path of love" in the garden. Legend has it that if lovers can walk by with their eyes closed, their future lives will be very happy.
