Krabi: Fantastic Four Islands one-day tour

Went out on a rainy day but that did not stop us having a great time. Pick up was on time , the schedule was changed due to the tide times which worked well. Lunch was a good offering and the tour guide always had a smile and explained everything during the day.

🐔 Chicken Island This was our first destination, and it set the bar high right away! The rocks really do resemble a chicken's head from a distance—very funny and photogenic. The water here is incredibly clear, transparent, and a turquoise color. We snorkeled, and the underwater world was simply stunning: corals, schools of colorful fish. A great start to the day! 🏝️ Poda Island A true paradise beach straight out of a Bounty ad! White sand, palm trees, and azure water. We spent about an hour here, and that was enough to enjoy the atmosphere of total relaxation. 🐚 Tub Island This was the most unexpected and amazing adventure! Phranang Cave But honestly, this one didn't live up to our expectations. Phranang Cave is so-so. Sure, the beach next to it is beautiful, with high cliffs. But the cave itself... well, it's just a cave.

It was a pretty good trip. All these boatmen have a well-oiled conveyor belt: they take you around the same islands, feed you, show you around. Overall, it's nothing special, it's nice, everything is pretty quick, you can just walk around, and you shouldn't go far. But there's not much to do there except take photos and swim. I liked the snorkeling the most – lots of fish and it's really beautiful! The food varies slightly from group to group; here it was pretty modest, unlike other groups, but I was okay. Some had a ton of dishes, but here only three. It started raining heavily during the trip, but that didn't really bother anyone. It was wet, but warm.

The tour was as described. The staff were friendly and very organized (one of the most organized tours I've ever taken). We passed through beautiful places. On the downside, I felt we were always rushing from place to place and didn't get to enjoy each beach much. The tour ended before 3 pm.

My husband and I went on this trip together. We absolutely loved it. Everything was exactly as described and in the additional information they sent. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and taken to the meeting point. Guides (specific to the excursion destinations) were waiting for us, along with cookies, coffee/tea, water, and juice. The guide spoke English and explained everything clearly. The boat pickup times (at each island) were also written down on paper. We were driven around three islands, including Railay Beach. Everything was very picturesque, even despite the bad weather. We were able to borrow snorkeling gear for free, and the fish were beautiful and plentiful. A downpour came at the end of the excursion, but it didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience. We also had a delicious Thai-style lunch, bottled water, and pineapple and watermelon.
