The momentum of the water rushing down is very spectacular. It is also one of the few waterfalls that can be seen from the top. The Skógafoss waterfall comes directly from the nearby Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. You can climb to the top of the waterfall. There are 500 stairs on the side of the mountain to easily reach the top.
