[AIS eSIM Package Activation Instructions]
• You may complete the identity verification in advance while still in your home country. Once the verification is completed, the eSIM will remain valid for 7 days. Please make sure to enter Thailand and use the eSIM within 7 days. If unused after the validity period, the package will expire automatically and cannot be refunded or replaced. Please avoid completing the verification too early.
• After the identity verification is completed, AIS will send a confirmation SMS. Please keep the AIS eSIM enabled for at least 40 minutes to receive the message. (Outside Thailand, some devices may not be able to receive the SMS. It can usually be received after arriving in Thailand.)
• Once the identity verification is completed and you arrive in Thailand, the package will activate automatically when the eSIM connects to the AIS network.
• If you have not yet arrived in Thailand, completing identity verification will activate only the AIS mobile number, not the eSIM data plan.

Photo Requirements:
• Passport photo: Clear, no glare, and the entire information page must be fully visible.
• Selfie: Remove glasses, ensure your full face is clearly within the frame, look directly at the camera, and remain still for 3–5 seconds.
[Passport Verification Limit]
• Each passport can be used to verify up to 3 eSIMs. Once a passport has been used for verification, it will remain linked until the eSIM validity period expires. During this time, the same passport cannot be used to verify other AIS SIM cards or eSIMs. After the eSIM validity period ends, the passport may be used again for verification.
[Disable Domestic SIM Card Roaming]
Before using an eSIM, make sure to turn off data roaming on your domestic SIM card to avoid incurring high international roaming charges. You will be responsible for any related fees, including roaming charges, overseas SIM card/eSIM purchase costs, and transportation expenses. No additional compensation will be provided.

To maintain network quality and the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), telecommunications companies may throttle users who consume large amounts of data within a short period, leading to slower speeds or inability to connect. To ensure stable internet access, please avoid activities that consume excessive data, such as prolonged video streaming/downloading, software updates, or sharing your network (hotspot).
